Amazing stay, and fantastic service by Martha! We would visit again.

Pros: Great accomodation in an old classic house. Breakfast was provided, which was great. The house is beautiful and has nice areas to sit and relax in, for a group of up to 11 people. Quiet neighborhood but also close to the city center. We enjoyed our stay!

Cons: The house is a bit old and the walls are thin, so it is easy to hear other people during the night.

Comfortable and charming.

Pros: Marta was a fantastic host, very flexible to our requests and very knowledgeable about the area and things to to do! The house is enormous and the beds very comfortable. Will be staying again in the future.

A lovely weekend

Pros: The house was very spacious and had local character. We were 7 friends and there was plenty of room for us all, we were very comfortable. It was very generous of the host to provide so much for breakfast (bread, cereal, fruit, jam, yoghurt, tea / coffee, milk etc). Marta was very nice and responsive; we had an issue that was not even related to the accommodation which she also helped us with. Lidl around the corner was very handy. The property is a bit out of the way, but we walked into town each day then got a Bolt taxi back, which was very cheap.

Cons: It was a shame that it was too early in the season to use the outdoor space.

We had an extremely enjoyable stay.

Pros: The makings for breakfast were excellent. The house was a bit difficult to find as the numbering system in the street has no rhyme or reason. That, of course, is not the host's fault. The house is a beautiful old place with magnificent period furniture, large rooms and high ceilings.

Cons: We liked everything.

Pros: Good large rooms. Very well stocked fruits, food etc . Washing machine, well equipped kitchen.

Cons: Taking our heavy bags two floors up the stairs. Since it was raining all the time, we would have liked a dryer for clothes washed

Beautiful home perfect for a group of friends to discover the delights of Porto

Pros: Beautiful property in a quiet neighbourhood. It is beautifully presented has hairdryers a dishwasher and washing machine. We walked into Porto each day and Ubered back which was really cheap and convenient. There were 11 single beds which was perfect for our group of friends. Lidl is right around the corner however there is a hearty breakfast provided. There is at least 1 bathroom per floor. The pictures don’t do it justice. We loved it!!

Cons: The shower took a little while to heat up but was perfect when it did.

Authentic house exactly as described.

Pros: Spacious, atmospheric, clean and comfortable. Very plentiful breakfasts provided. Also the owner was flexible and responded positively when we needed to change our requirements; very much appreciated. And special thanks to Marta for allowing us an early check-in and providing lots of helpful information.

Cons: Everything was good!

Full of Charm, and Ideal for a Group

Pros: Marta is a very warm and responsive host, including arranging a taxi for us when we left. A traditional Porto family home on three floors with no lift. Built in 1912 and full of period furnishings, decorations, and tasteful touches. Large rooms, including a wonderful dining room. Excellent range of kitchen supplies, and a washing machine. Lovely garden in the back a huge plus. Excellent range of breakfast foods provided--and a welcome bottle of port! Also good maps of Porto and local information. Pretty park nearby with views of the city.

Cons: The main negative was the wi-fi--worked intermittently but needs improvement. Stairs could be a problem for elderly or disabled people. The bathroom for one of the bedrooms is just outside the back door but well-heated so not a problem for us. One of the 3 toilets didn't flush and one of the 3 showers leaked--Marta arranged a plumber for the day we left. One of the beds was far too soft. Not very convenient for the metro, but several buses into the centre of town.
