Covelo Park Apartment

Lovely flat with a friendly host

Pros: Manuel was a very nice host. He had water and fresh fruit ready for us when we arrived. He gave us helpful tips for Porto and also recommended good restaurants near the flat. Because we were travelling with five people, he provided us with a fifth bed, which was much more comfortable than a sofa bed. The flat is cosy. The shower worked well. The proximity to the metro station, supermarkets and a delicious French bakery was very convenient. Even though there are a few run-down houses on the street, we did not feel unsafe.

Cons: There were some wild cats on the balcony. However, we did not wanted to use the balcony, so they did not bother us.

Great stay in Porto

Pros: Host was super friendly and responsive. Helped me with my allergies. Very knowledgeable about the area. Location was near the underground. Supermarket close. Flat clean and not small. Can walk to less touristy restaurants nearby and city centre. Great for children, next to the playground and flat provides the bath, gates, potty etc. Air-conditioning worked. Not noisy at night.

Cons: Nothing to do with the flat, but the Neighborhood homeless cats sit in the balcony. I guess some people may like that. Views are not great from the balcony, flat probably needs a repaint. Park near the underground was rough in the evenings. Would not walk about alone at night as a woman in that park.

Great base for exploring Porto

Pros: Manuel was very helpful and gave us some great tips. Had everything we needed for the baby - bath, highchair, cot.

Great stay in a cosy place, close by facilities (métro, supermarket). Manuel is great!

Pros: Manuel is a very approachable person, very easy to communicate with and friendly. He welcomed my family and gave them all the tips to check around the city. We stayed in touch throughout our stay and even after to make sure that all was good.The accommodation is as it is described, very comfy and welcoming, and with a small supermarket on the same Streep, so it was easy to pick up anything we needed for breakfast. Overall it was a great stay.

Cons: All good.

Great apartment, excellent location

Pros: Manuel was a helpful and friendly host who went above and beyond to make us feel at home. The apartment is spacious, clean, and very comfortable. It was a perfect size especially with the extra little room for the baby. It had absolutely everything we could need and was very child friendly. The location is nice, 2 minutes walk to Covelo park, excellent transport, very easy to get to the main attractions. Would recommend to all families, we will definitely come to stay again!

Pros: Large, comfortable apartments. Very good and friendly landlord.

Cons: I would make a canopy on the terrace to comfortably sit there when it rains. The knives also needed sharpening.

Pros: Manuel is a great host. He has waited us to gave us the keys and explain some things about the property and the area - restaurants, groceries, transport. The apartment has a nice balcony to have a coffee in the morning or a glass of wine during the day. It;s located close to D line metro station with direct access to city center.

Pros: Manuel was an excellent host! He was very welcoming, friendly and supportive, offering help and suggestions of the local area. He even helped me surprise my niece with some treats for her 18th birthday. The flat is very spacious and has everything one might need.

Pros: Tudo estava perfeito, o Anfitrião foi atencioso e fez ótimas indicações de passeios e restaurantes, não só em Porto, mas também nos arredores.

Cons: Estava tudo perfeito.

Apparemment pratique, bien situé, propriétaire à l’écoute

Pros: Appartement situé au nord de Porto permettant de visiter aussi la région du Nord. L’accès à porto en Uber est très pratique et pas cher. La petite cuisine permet de se faire un dîner et se poser après une journée intense. Une petite supérette à côté permet de faire des courses rapides.

Cons: Pas de parking gratuit.
