charm in C - Porto Center Apartment

Good option for self-catering in an interesting neighbourhood away from the crowded centre.

Pros: It’s a well organised apartment in a quiet, safe building, walking distance from Porto Campanha station, with a supermarket and metro station nearby. The bed is comfortable and everything works. Great to have a big fridge. Marta is very welcoming and incredibly helpful, and you can walk to Bolhão Market. This isn’t a tourist area — it’s a real neighbourhood.

Cons: The hot water system is a little tricky, and the kitchen could use a sharp knife. But everything is manageable.

Beautiful shuttered studio with screened bed area and comfortable couch, everthing was within a 10-20 minute walk.

Pros: It had been well thought out and well furnished. The position was excellent with good access to transport. The stairwell to our unit on first floor had a beautiful skylight. Netflix was available and we could just log in to our subscription in the evening.

Cons: Nothing really, though I never worked out how the plug in the bathroom basin worked.

Pros: Friendly host and comfortable apartment with everything one would need for a great stay. Quite closeby the centre of Porto.

Pros: It was secure and fairly quiet with a little road noise,but not a problem for us. Supermarket was very close by,nice and easy to find. Great shower and washing machine.

Cons: Only one negative which I reported and will get replaced for future guest,the wire dish drainer was very rusty and so you couldn’t use it.

Pros: Lovely old building - Marta made us very welcome, and gave us useful information, and the apartment had everything we needed. Easy walk into the city centre.

Cons: It was a bit noisy as on a busy road, but not too much of a problem.

Pros: Location was really good. Close to centre, Metro and train station. Hosts excellent with easy handover of keys. Apartment was lovely with great shower and good kitchen facilities. Comfy bed. Nice big sofa to ease into after a busy day out..

Cons: Street out side was a bit loud, definitely need windows closed..

Pros: Amazingly kind host, who prepared a map for us with all points of interest. She was very kind and patient, even when our flight was delayed. She gave us very good tips and took her time and effort to welcome us. Her English was still work in progress, but she gave it here 500% to communicate with us and inform us about everything! Bravo!~~

Cons: I wasn't a huge fan of the additional cost for 25 euro's for check-in after 9PM. As the door had a code, I wonder if a lockbox could make check-in more efficient;y for guests and prevent the extra costs.

Pros: Everything was wonderful, small but charming apartment with beautiful design, spacious bathroom, in kitchen all you need to prepare meal. Very close to metro station.

Pros: It was confortable and not so far from center town, we had a good time.

Cons: We just missed a colander in the kitchen.

Pros: Charm in C was perfectly located close to bars and restaurants in the Bonfim area, with all the required amenities nearby. The apartment was clean and great for a short stay in the beautiful city of Porto.
