Downtown Colosseum Apartments

Overall great!

Pros: It was very pretty and cool. We had a great time having dinner and talking at the apartment, the ambiance was great. The beds were comfortable and warm and the kitchen had pretty much everything we needed (we had to buy coffe since there was only two pods and we were three staying two nights).

Cons: The shower's hot water lasts enough for a couple short showers. We were 3 so we had to wait a bit for it to fill up between showers. There's also a bar just under the apartment and since we stayed on friday and saturday night it got a bit loud, we think it was the source of a weird smell in the apartment as well.

Pros: Excellent location very comfortable typical Portuguese apartment in old building. Great for family trip close to everything. Very clean. Highly recommended.

Loved it - would definitely return

Pros: Very spacious 1st floor studio apartment with a nice alcove for twin beds and a sofa with a pull out to make two more single beds. Well equipped and comfortable with a lovely pizza restaurant below and Pingo Doce supermarket just a few steps away. Bathroom grout could do with a bit of attention but otherwise nice and clean. Washing machine was a surprise - didn’t use but could be very handy if staying or travelling for longer. Excellent location. I would definitely stay here again.

Cons: The only slight downside is that the road is busy and can get quite noisy, particularly at night time. It’s wise to sleep with the windows closed!

Great stay in ideal location

Pros: Great location, walking distance to many attractions, loads good restaurants on doorstep, Pingo supermarket 2 mins walk. Although busy street, windows and shutters provided great sound proofing. Air con (not that we used it much) but can imagine would be required in hotter summer months.

Cons: Iron and clothes horse were missing from apartment, however quick message to company and replacement items were brought to us. Lack of tourist information provided/ no guest book, always like to get local recommendations regarding places to eat nearby or tips from previous guests.

Pros: Great location. Can walk everywhere. Uber to beach for less than €10. Comfortable beds.

Cons: The door locking system from inside is difficult to understand. Some clear instructions written on the wall beside would be great.

Pros: Location facilities all good.we asked for a kettle and Joana was very quick to agree and supply us with a kettle. She also suggested we might like a change of sheets and towels half was through our stay as we were staying for 10 days. This was done.

Cons: The lighting on the stairs could be improved it was difficult to see .

Enjoyable

Pros: The whole booking experience was very easy, got our codes very quickly and as the apartment was close to the centre it was quite easly to go around places.

Cons: May be keeping some condiments in the kitchen and fixing the bathroom lock would be great

Pros: The location, spacious, decor lovely, amenities were good.

Cons: We would have liked luggage racks, laundry detergent and a few more coffee pods for a three night stay. Dish towels would be helpful.

Beautiful stay in a charming apartment in a central location

Pros: The apartment was very central while at the same time being very quiet. We were there with our 7 month old daughter and we really appreciated the personal touches such as a bib,baby shampoo etc. It really helped so much. We also appreciated the beautiful hand written note we received from the team.

Cons: The only slight issue is you can hear anyone going in or out of the building. Also if you have noisy neighbours upstairs the sound will travel so I'd advise ear plugs

Pros: Good central location. Good size apartment. Responsive host

Cons: No lift.
