Welcoming apartment in a quiet, nice location

Pros: We arrived in Porto very late, and reached an apartment almost at midnight. Nevertheless, we were welcome by the lady who gave us keys and all instructions, including a nice self-made book with recommendations. Although in the side street, we liked the location, it was quiet enough (we travelled in the late autumn, maybe it's more loud in the summer), and close to some attractive parts of town. It's a studio, but comfortable enough, and first floor is not a problem to carry luggage

Would highly recommend - great hosts and great location

Pros: Hosts were excellent communicators and the location was very good. A very comfortable stay with great amenities - even a washing machine

Cons: House across the road was being renovated - so noisy start in the morning. Restaurant next door was sometimes noisy at night

Beautiful artsy apartment in the city center

Pros: Very beautiful apartment with everything you may need. Bed is very comfortable. Host is very helpful and reachable. Location is in the city centre, most famous places are near, also many restaurants around.

Cons: If you a light sleeper, can be a problem with noise from street.

Lovely cosy place

Pros: The place was cosy, clean and had everything you needed. Communication and check in was straightforward. Its a cute studio with a good sized kitchen which is separated by a wall from the bedroom area. Great breakfast cafe across the road and noodle restaurant. Easy walking distance to the metro and old town.

Cons: The only downside was the noise, there was a lot of late night/early morning noise but I think this is quite common in most central areas of Porto. Ear plugs recommend for light sleepers.

Good place to stay for a couple of nights

Pros: It’s very convenient, many shops and restaurants around

Cons: People talk and music loud in the restaurant. Even all windows are closed , it’s a bit noisy at night.

Pros: Very good use of a good sized room in a traditional style building. Bed, chair, dining table for 2, useful kitchenette and good shower. Good choice of restaurants nearby. Close enough to transport connections. Good communication with hosts.

Cons: Noise from the street below.

Pros: Our host was really arranging and welcoming. The place was nice, clean and its location's just perfect to reach any place you want to discover in the city center.

Cons: Nothing.

Pros: Very comfortable and large studio in a good location surrounded with good set of restaurants and bars nearby as well as a mini market.Close to the subway stop from the Airport, so a quick 5 minute walk to the apartment.

Cons: Nothing.
