Bainharia Oporto Historic Centre Studio Apartment

Pros: The apartment is compact, clean and authentic! Everything was thought through in detail and we found everything one might need for a comfortable stay. We were even allowed to stay longer past our check-out time so my mother and I didn’t have to wander with our suitcases. Amazing experience in an amazing city. Obrigada!

Loved it!!!

Pros: It was so cleverly put together in a small space with loads of lovely touches like a little bottle of wine and port and cold water in the fridge. Oscar was warm and friendly and very accommodating when we requested an early check. It is brilliantly positioned, close to everything in old town Porto. We loved it!

Pros: Though it was a studio, it was a good size! It had every thing one would need for comfort in a very nice and compact way! I stayed 4 days easily and comfortably. I also liked the location! The elevator was a big help to me as i had a big bag! Mainly Oscar was attentive and obliged me on all fronts.

The apartment was a good base to explore Porto.

Pros: The apartment was quiet and clean and in a convenient place for getting around. The bed was comfortable. The equipment worked fine. The host was friendly, helpful, spoke English well, and responded quickly when contacted. The lift worked well. We enjoyed the area near the river: full of life.

Cons: Rather small, but we did have a sense of that from the photographs. Not a hearty shower, but water hot. We were unlucky in that out-of-town fires caused a smokey atmosphere for a couple of days.

Pros: Near the centre and a good welcome. A bit small but very clean and so well equipped. Bathroom towels and lots of extras. The wine was a great surprise.

Cons: A bit small View limited

Good little apartment, great location would stay again.

Pros: Great location, restaurants and shopping just down the road, with plenty to see and do. The apartment is small but it's well equipped with everything you need.

Cons: The table it was too wobbly and spun too easily.

Central, compact, great facilities

Pros: Great location, close to Sao Bento and the ribiera. Great attention to detail to maximise the use of the space, given that the apartment itself is actually quite small. We liked being greeted and our questions being answered in person. Plus, being welcomed with wine and water plus other goodies either in the refrigerator or 'tea trolley', also well provisioned with coffee pods too😀

Brilliant - such good service and lovely apartment, do yourself a favour and stay here.

Pros: It is a gorgeous small apartment with everything one could want. It is in a cool part of the historic center, top floor of a beautifully refurbished building with a lift. The host was amazing, he allowed us a late checkout to wait for our flight, gave us great advice about where to Stay in the Douro Valley when we took a boat trip to Régua for the night. Stacks of lovely extras in the apartment, Nespresso with pods, a bottle of Rose, shampoo, equipped small kitchenette. This was the best apartment of our travels. Will definitely stay here again.

Cons: Absolutely nothing. One thing to note, you will have to walk the last little bit up to the apartment as vehicles don't come to the door. It was fine but the street is steep - easy as rolling down on the way out! If coming from Sao Bento it is not far to walk and mostly downhill :-)

Lovely apartment, amazing host, great location

Pros: My partner and I had an amazing stay in this apartment. Our flight from London was delayed, so we arrived in to Porto very late at night. Not only did the host allow the late check-in, he also collected us from the airport. The apartment itself is lovely, very well designed maximising the full use of space. We would definitely stay in the apartment again if returning to Porto.

Se dovessimo tornare a Porto, spero di sì, torneremo sicuramente

Pros: La camera molto accogliente, era dotata di tutto, avevamo tutto a disposizione! Macchinetta del caffè, acqua, prodotti per il bagno, frigo, tutta l’attrezzatura per cucinare, ferro da stiro (con asse ovviamente) e ci è stata regalata anche una bottiglia piccolina del vino Porto, davvero molto apprezzato come regalo! L’host é stato super disponibile in ogni fase della prenotazione, ci ha fornito tutte le indicazioni necessarie e utili per goderci al meglio il nostro soggiorno. La posizione pur essendo in pieno centro era silenziosa. É veramente in un punto strategico per girare a piedi la città e proprio a due passi dalla struttura abbiamo preso un bus che ci ha portato direttamente all’oceano.
