Virtudes Terrace

Beautiful apartment in a great location.

Pros: The terrace is massive and not overlooked by anyone, like a little oasis in the sky. The apartment is clean, bright and airy. The location was great, very social vibe in the evenings and close to everything we wanted but away from the most touristy parts.

Cons: I can't think of anything. We didn't get to meet host as she was away but she was very communicative and helpful via messaging whenever we needed something.

Pros: I liked how Ana met us with keys and provided an excellent orientation to property. She had an amazing booklet to help with restaurant choices and a map for navigation.

Brilliant apartment , even better host

Pros: The location here is superb . As first time visitors it took a while to get our bearings but the apartment is ideally situated with great views yet quiet due to its height . The outstanding feature however is Ana the host who genuinely could not have helped us more . She met us , was extremely helpful with check in/out and many tips for local knowledge . Additionally she made herself available for communications even out of office hours . I would thoroughly recommend any of her properties after this stay

Comfort, historic charm and a convenient base for exploring Porto

Pros: We loved the apartment and the location - we were able to walk to everything. There are many small touches throughout the apartment that contributed to making this a great stay. The terrace is amazing - only wish it hadn't rained so much during our visit. We appreciated the great communication with our host. In addition to meeting us and showing us around the apartment, she also provides a comprehensive guest book with many recommendations. She even checked in during our stay to see how we were doing.

Very good apartment with great view.

Pros: A very nice apartment with a stunning view and a large, spacious terrace. The young man who welcomed and checked us in was very helpful and gave us additional tips about the sights and restaurants. The location was very good, and most of the attractions are within walking distance.

Cons: In one of the bedrooms, we were bitten by mosquitoes — it’s impossible to sleep with the windows closed because it’s too hot. The ceiling fan in the bedrooms is not enough; there should be air conditioning. The apartment is on the top floor and gets sun all day — we stayed in mid-July. The bathroom is old and has no ventilation. Overall, the apartment needs a refreshing renovation and replacement of the old doors and furniture.

Pros: I loved the terrace and the location of this property. It was a home away from home and it was also quiet. There was no sound at night. Peaceful and relaxing. I truly enjoyed it. Ana was fantastic. She took the time to explain the map and made great suggestions to make this stay memorable. A small market next to this apartment was just wonderful. Wine, beer and anything else you need is at your disposal. Sunday is a tricky day as most places are closed. Something to keep in mind. Other than that, you will love your stay at Porto and at this location. Everything else is a walking distance but just be aware of the hills. The apartment has everything you need from washing machine to full kitchen amenities. Plenty of dishes, cutlery, cups and glasses. Ana left two bottles of water and coffee to enjoy the place right away. Thanks Ana for everyone. I will happily book again. And I recommend that you also consider this amazing place for your stay.

Cons: I particularly loved waking up at the same time as seagulls. Watching them from the terrace was a wonderful experience. There is nothing not to like about this place.

Pros: Die Lage war super, Wohnung mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Direkt darunter ein kleiner Einkaufsladen. Man hatte ein tolles Buch mit allen Informationen rund um die Region und eine nette Besitzerin! Geniale Dachterasse

Cons: Wer es ruhig haben möchte, ist hier vielleicht nicht richtig. Die Betten sind für Doppelbetten etwas klein.

Pros: Appartement très lumineux et confortable. Très bien situé dans Porto que nous pouvons visiter à pieds. Accueil chaleureux et professionnel. Notre hôte a été très réactive dans la résolution des imprévus.
