KOKAS Apartments

Pros: The apt was nice, clean and equipped with everything we needed. If you want to cook, the you can find the basic dishes here. Spacious bathroom, place to sit in a kitchen even when the sofa is turned into bed. Communication with the owner was excellent too! As a bonus you live in the very center of Porto with bus, train and metro within 5 minutes.

Cons: The drain in the shower isnt clean enough so water goes away slowly. The sofa-bed is a bit noisy to sleep on, every tiny movement makes it creak.

Really good apartment but don’t think I would recommend for women only groups

Pros: Perfect overall location, close walk to local tourist spots. Apartment had everything you would need to do basic meals to save a bit of money. Perfect apartment once inside

Cons: While the overall location was good, the apartment is down a side street where one local caused quite a few issues during the stay. An older man who on several occasions heckled and shouted at us. Being three women travelling and not knowing what was said this made us quite uncomfortable. The police were called by someone else very soon after this so I don’t believe we were the only people effected. Also if you are a light sleeper, the sofa bed in the living room can hear chatter from the street very easily, which went on to 5am on Saturday to Sunday morning.

Pros: Muito silencioso, permitindo descansar sem problemas.

Cons: As escadas não são muito confortáveis para subir com malas.
