Convenient and comfortable

Pros: Very clean and conveniently located hotel, not far from the river and a lot of sightseeing locations. Good value too. The owner did an exceptional job renovating it! Yes, there is no lift, but if you have a lot of luggage you may book a flat on the first floor.

Lovely, light filled apartment in the heart of the city

Pros: High ceilings, tall windows, lots of light coming through into the apartment, slight river view, tasteful furnishings and nice space - was such a lovely, peaceful and comfortable base and didn’t have to venture far for the best bits of town. Apartment had a well equipped kitchen (eg moka pot coffee) which gave us the flexibility to have breakfast in v comfortably. Location is central and near a lot of good restaurants and the river but not too much noise. Staff are friendly, helpful with their suggestions and responsive over email/ text.

Cons: Just to note there’s no stairs and no parking onsite (staff will recommend parking sites) and loads of stairs around so getting there etc is a bit stressful (but Porto is generally hilly)

This is a romantic and glamorous mansion in the heart of a sexy city.

Pros: Glamorous 18th century mansion that gave me ideas above my station

Cons: Nothing. It was perfect.

Fantastic stay with everything we needed

Pros: Beautiful place with very helpful staff. It was our first holiday with our baby and they were very helpful. The apartment was perfect for us

Cons: The housekeeping times were a bit strange and we only had our apartment serviced once but it wasn’t a problem

Perfect location, perfect apartment.

Pros: Fantastic location, really bid studio style apartment. The property was so clean and the staff are incredibly helpful. Such an incredible location.

Cons: Only warning is there is no lift.

A true home away from home!

Pros: Gorgeous, spacious apartment with close proximity to everything you need in the historic city centre. A lovely view from our balcony down the street to Porto Cathedral. Well equipped for us as a small family travelling with a baby. Super kind staff who were always easily reachable for help and recommendations. Lovely big sofa to lounge on! Crispy bed linen! A nice industrial fan to make the sweltering summer nights a bit more bearable! :)

Cons: Can’t think of anything! Do take note that the apartments are up a few flights of stairs with no elevator. This wasn’t a problem for us though, and you are able to leave strollers in the entry way if you are travelling with little ones.

A breath of fresh air

Pros: Lovely apartment that is so cosy and comfortable - also so spacious! We stayed in apartment 1A. Very clean, styled beautifully and has all the amenities you need. Great location - 5 mins walk to the main strip along the river and very close to other attractions and food spots in Porto. We loved our stay here and will come back next time we’re in town - highly recommend.

Cons: Nothing!

Lovely apartment in central part of old town Porto.

Pros: Grandiose apartment. Very comfortable beds. Kept reasonably cool in spite of heat wave. Highly approachable and service-minded host.

Cons: Building works across the street starting early in the morning. Noisy traffic and tourists until late at night.

Fantastic stay in Porto!

Pros: Beautifully restored property, amazing decor, clean and spacious. The location is perfect and the communication with the hosts was amazing. We had such a special stay.

Cons: It doesn’t have a lift, but they very kindly moved us to a lower apartment as we had a small baby with us. The customer service is brilliant.

Beautiful room and excellent location

Pros: The room is beautiful and the location is amazing.

Cons: Very small things, but there is no tv. And there was no wine or breakfast. I think this may have been because we didn’t book directly. By the booking.com page says there’s wine, the website says breakfast. We got neither. We also never saw a concierge or the shop open in our whole stay which was strange.
