naBaixa Apartments

Pros: Easy self check-in with door code. Nice bathroom with spacious shower. Appliances for basic cooking. Air-conditioning worked well. The apartment and area were nice and quiet. Above all, the terrace was the best thing about the apartment. Very enjoyable both mornings and evenings. We enjoyed our stay in the apartment!

Cons: Just small things: Beds a bit on the firm side, top mattresses could have done wonders. Sleeping area isn't a separate room, and gets a bit warm at night in spite of the air conditioning. Coffee capsule machine of a less common system - we only managed to find the correct capsules the last day, after getting it wrong twice. Perhaps that says more about us 😄

Pros: The room is nice with a big bathroom. All facilities are quite new. The kitchen is small but has everything.

Cons: On the top of a hill, it's a challenge after walking for a whole day.

Pros: Nice appartment, big bathroom, kitchen, good contact with the host, alhought in Portuguese :)

Cons: To get there is an uphill walk, quite steep

Cons: There was door connecting the kitchen to the balcony so if you leave the window open you could get insects in your room

Pros: Lovely clean apartment with a nice view of Porto! It's close to the city center in a more quiet area. Nice shops and cafes close by. Friendly owner who responds quick. Would recommend!

Amazing - the apartment was perfect, close to the centre of Porto but not noisy!!

Pros: My apartment was perfect. I was travelling alone and it would have been fine for 2 people but not for 4 as stated. It's beautifully clean , easy to get to, close to the centre of Porto but not right in the busy part of town. It has almost everything you need and some lovely home from home, thoughtful touches, like washing up liquid, coffee pods, a dish towel - such thoughtful little things. My bed and towel were changed mid week of my stay. The host was very easy to get hold of and checked in on me via message to check things were all going well and to see if I needed anything. I have recommended naBaixa to a friend who is going to Porto next year

Cons: There was very little I didn't like. The only comments I have are: - I would liked for there to have been a lock on my door, as a woman on her own I would have felt safer. - I would have like a safe, even a small one, just for my passport - A full length mirror would have been nice

Comfortable stay in a central but quiet district of Porto

Pros: The location - central but quiet. Very close to Bolhao market and metro station. A nice terrace to have a coffee in the morning with a view over Porto. Very easy self checkin and checkout procedure. Easy to find, too. The hosts are very responsive and polite.

Cons: The smell from the sewage in the bathroom which spread to the room. Steep stairs. It’s generally okay but if you stay on the upper floor, be mindful of that - no lift to carry the luggage.

Pros: Great view from balcony. All the necessary things for cooking. Amazing shower. Owner responded to my messages quickly.

Enjoyable stay in a conveniently situated & well equipped apartment.

Pros: Well located a few minutes walk from a main Metro station. Plenty restaurants, cafes, bars, shops close by and around 30 mins walk down to the river. The apartment was small but well equipped with everything you need as a base for a few days in Porto.

Cons: The beds were ok although the mattress covers refused to stay attached to the mattress during the night. Otherwise, it was all good.

Beautiful.

Pros: The place was amazing and the hosts were exceptional. The hosts were very kind and explained how they are able to take care of Bonzai trees. Fascinating!

Cons: A bit out of the way from the town.
