Central chic comfortable stay
Pros: Everything! Industrial New York style decor. Well designed and thought out layout.
Cons: Electricity flip switch went a couple of times. But managed to find the switch quick enough to resolve the issue.

An amazing first visit to Porto, helped hugely by the comfort and central location of the apartment
Pros: Location was perfect, interior design of apartment exciting
Cons: There were no products in the bathroom apart from basic soap, shower gel would have been good

Excellent.
Pros: Clean, spacious, minimalist. Tall ceilings. I was greeted at the door and given a code. Staff were very responsive to email communications. There was a complementary bottle of wine, a nice shower, functioning air conditioning, a lovely view and well-sealed windows to keep out the noise and light. Super central location which was very convenient for a short solo stay - lovely restaurants, great accessibility to all sights, nightlife, restaurants and easy to get further out of the city away from mainstream tourism. I thought it was very affordable for a what it was in a central location during high tourist season. It's worth noting this is not a 'hotel' as some reviews have expected - rather, it is a short-stay apartment. There are hotel elements (towels, coffee, etc) but you are left to your own devices mainly, which I much prefer, as it is un-intrusive.
Cons: Perhaps could've benefitted from a few more basic features in the room (without sacrificing the minimalism) - e.g. a general sink for rinsing glasses etc, slightly larger fridge maybe. Coffee maker was also a bit on the fritz, but that is very minor.

Pros: Great room and hotel. Take in consideration that the room walls are transparent, the rest was perfect. Moved to another room because our friend left and they allowed me to move directly from one room to another without any waiting time.

Great stay in Porto
Pros: Great location- we were able to walk everywhere. Lots of stores and restaurants nearby. The staff in the restaurant below were wonderful- we had a drink there several evenings and the food looked great. The room was clean and comfortable and it was nice to have a small refrigerator and kettle in the room.

Excellent value for money in a design hotel in the heart of Porto
Pros: Great communication by whatsapp, self checkin with codes, very central location, parking nearby, good price
Cons: it is in a lively street therefore it can be a bit noisy, not an issue for us but good to know before booking

Pros: Located downtown, close to everything, this is a comfy and well located spot from which to explore Porto! It was great to wake up and have coffee on the balcony, watching people walk up and down the charming Rua dos Caldeireiros. The apartment is exactly as pictured on Booking. The place was clean and the check in process seamless. When needed, the hostess was readily available via Whatsapp or the Booking message centre.
Cons: I visited in January and the apartment was quite chilly - the air conditioning didn't really warm the place enough. Also, there is a restaurant downstairs and the noise does creep up. Since during most of my stay I returned late, this did not bother me that much, but early birds and more sensitive folk will find this displeasing.

I loved my stay and would not hesitate to book again when next in Porto
Pros: I loved my stay at Babel. Accommodation is in an excellent location, beautiful large accommodation with all necessary amenities- including small bar fridge. Very safe and hosts were responsive to emails and there is a contact number for emergencies. Check in instructions very easy to follow. Fantastic value for money
Cons: Everything was great though it would have been good to be able to store luggage upon check out, however, there are many luggage storage facilities nearby

Great location from which to explore Porto.
Pros: I'd stayed here a couple of times before, when it was known as Miss Opo. A lot of what I liked about Miss Opo remains, obviously it hasn't moved and the location is great. It's super clean and self-check-in is very easy, as is all communication, via WhatsApp. The rooms offer a great size, more like a studio apartment than a hotel room. The food in the restaurant downstairs was great.
Cons: When it was Miss Opo you got a breakfast basket, which, although I knew it wouldn't be there when booking, was missed. Some butter and/or milk in the fridge wouldn't go a miss.
