Pros: It was modern and beautifully decorated, perfect for two adults and two children. Having a little garden with a lime tree and seating area was lovely. Well equipped.

Must stay here if you visit Porto/Gaia

Pros: Douro Pateo House in Gaia is a hidden gem! The house is beautifully maintained, cozy, and perfectly decorated with a lovely patio where you can relax and enjoy the views. The location is fantastic, safe, and conveniently close to Porto's main attractions. Anna, the owner, and Margarida, the caretaker, went above and beyond to make my stay comfortable and memorable. Their local knowledge and recommendations were invaluable, and their kindness and hospitality made me feel like I was staying with friends. If you're looking for a warm and welcoming place to stay in Porto, Douro Pateo House is an excellent choice. Highly recommend!!!!!!

Pros: NIce place, Close enough to many of the things we like in Porto. Easy parking.

Cons: The only complaint i had (and for me its an integrity thing) was that we were made to pay an additional 10euro even though the T&Cs stated it was not required, so we should not have been forced to pay. The responsibility for this error sits with the host or booking.com. Not the first time ive been stung by a host and booking.com takes no responsibilty either. Dissappointing

Excellent place to explore Porto

Pros: Anna & Margarida are super hosts. The appartment is great with a nice private garden and terras. Super clean. Very good bed.

Pros: Lovely outdoor patio space and overall accommodation. Host was very good at communicating. The welcome was lovely. Clean apartment. Great location for the Gaia side noting the hill

Cons: Bear in mind that it if you are going to the riverfront, that it is quite a walk back up the hill to return to the apartment but there are bus stops nearby and taxis. There is also a new multiple lift system nearby. In the apartment, we could sometimes hear people talking loudly next door however we think they realised and spoke more quietly . These items would definitely not stop us staying there again

One of the best options ...

Pros: We had a pleasant stay in a clean and very beautiful house! We had all the necessaries for a family with 2 kids (8 and 5 years old). The house is as it appears in photos. No way we could find such a place in a better price! Ana (the owner) and the people who welcomed us where very caring and willing to help us with anything we wanted. I certainly recommend for both families and couple. Thank you very much Ana!!!

Pros: Clean place, flexible check in. Free parking on the street,, easy to reach places on foot.

Just what we needed after a real mess and disappointment with airbnb

Pros: Perfect location for us with a small tranquil garden and the host was very helpful and easy to contact. Clean, enough space and hood beds with a decent shower too.

A great base to explore Porto and Vila Nova de Gaia, just far enough from the action to be quiet

Pros: The hosts had thought through what you need for a short stay and be able to make simple meals in comfort, lots of little touches that were appreciated. The location was surprisingly quiet and easy to access the city by bus

Great location. Neat place.

Pros: It only takes 12 minutes walking to the Gaia docks near the Luiz Bridge. The street and nearby surroundings are very quiet. Very easy to park and it is free. The room looks nice and all works fine. Very clean.

Cons: The small fridge inside the room sometimes waked me up. If you have very light sleep remember this.
