Clean and equipped in a lovely area

Pros: Very good location, walking distance to city center, restaurant, supermarket, and public transport. Villa Nova de Gaia is a lovely area to stay, very lively and not super touristy. The house is perfectly clean and well equipped. Owner was responsive, kind and full of tips and good suggestions.

Well located homely apartment

Pros: Perfectly located, comfortable apartment which was fully equipped for our stay. Our host was great and gave us information on how to get to all the main locations. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay there again.

A really lovely place to stay that is super central.

Pros: This apartment was really lovely and so close to town - which is so handy. We walk everywhere - so it suited us perfectly. There was also a metro/tram station very close by if needed and a supermarket 900m away. Our host was very welcoming and helpful. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was a warm and comfortable place to stay.

Cons: Our only comment (and it is just a comment, not a complaint) is that the apartment is directly over a pub/restaurant, which is open from 8am to 10.30pm every day except Sundays. While it is not super loud, it could be a little frustrating if you have young kids in terms of getting them to sleep, depending on how busy they are below and whether they are all standing outside or not.

Great place to stay. Out of the busy-ness of the city but still close enough to enjoy central porto.

Pros: Great place to stay and easily accessible to the rest of porto we found it really easy to navigate. Place was clean, tidy and the host met us and shared all the good places to go and visit which was really useful.

Cons: Not their fault but hard to use the address for uber to get to the location had to use a close by landmark.

Fantastic town, excellent Host, stay to be enjoyed - good choice.

Pros: Host invited us on arrival, informed about all ammenities, explained where we can find the market shop, what is worth to see in Porto. Moreover we were invited by nice welcome message and just a bit of porto to taste and enjoy the stay :-) The appartment was clean and tidy. We enjoyed the breakfast and evening meals on the terrace. The location we consider as convenient - 5 min to metro stops, close Douro embankment with multiple bars & shops, close to the famous Luis I bridge and Jardim do Morro with excellent view on the old part of Porto and picturesque sunsets. Don't be misleaded by the surrounding and streets (as seen e.g. on Google maps) - the appartment itself is clean, well equipped, in silent area plus the Host is really helpful.

Great location, host, and comfortable

Pros: Well decorated and furnished unit with everything needed to be comfortable, do some light cooking and enjoy a meal or simply relax after a long day strolling

Cons: A bit noisy a few times with the street noise and the neighbors. On the other hand, exactly what should be expected when staying in a local neighborhood.
