Due to the works on Porto Metro, both the street with the main entrance to the hotel (Rua do Almada) and Rua dos Clerigos, one of the main access roads to the hotel’s area, will be closed or have the direction of traffic changed intermittently until December 2024.

An emblematic area full of charm

One of the main tourist attractions worth visiting in Porto is Livraria Lello, just 0’2 km from the hotel. This neo-gothic bookshop was opened in 1906, and it is considered one of the most beautiful bookshops in the world, thanks to its magnificent red staircase connecting the main floor with the upper floor of the building. Fun fact: the bookshop’s floor still has the old railroad tracks used to carry the books with wagons from one bookshelf to another.
