Charming rooms in the centre of Porto

Pros: Charming rooms, large and spacious, we also were able to check in early (thank you!), location is great

Cons: On colder days it was a bit chilly and humid in the room (most of buildings in Portugal struggle with it), we traveled in the winter

Very good comfortable stay excellent breakfast and brilliant location

Pros: Brilliant location check in was so simple with clear instructions on how to get in to the building. Everything felt safe for a solo traveler room was quiet

Cons: Few minor maintenance issues things like the shower has no holder which makes washing hair very difficult

OPORTO HOUSE.. LOOK NO FURTHER FOR A CHEAP AND CHEERFUL PROPERTY

Pros: The location was excellent 5 min.walk from Sao Bento train station and 2 min walk for the Clerigos Tower.. The room was large with access to the garden (room A)..the shower was powerful with plenty of hot water..only downside was that the shower needs to be attached more securely..Access to the property was by code but iit was very easy to use ..Staff were excellent

Cons: Nothing much.. past reviews say that noise can be heard at night due to the location ( a couple of strip clubs near by ) but i can honestly say we didnt hear a thing . A lick of paint to the front door wouldnt go a miss.

Pros: Hotel is in an old traditional stone house with functional and comfort rooms that have a great town view.

Cons: The house could use some detailed cleaning (windows, spider nets) and some handyman to fix few things (shower holder). The breakfast wasn’t sufficient with some pieces of bread, literally one slice of salami and one slice of cheese, although you get excellent coffe, natural juice and a slice of melon.
