Our stay here was perfect Susana was very lonely and the perfect host who went above and beyond she is lovely the hotel

A warm and welcoming stay with fantastic hosts

Pros: Everything! We had the studio apartment at the bottom of the garden which was nice as you had that extra bit of privacy and it was very handy having a kitchen area if you wanted to buy any food/drink from the supermarket. The room was spacious and comfortable and the hotel was generally a great base for exploring the city. Susana was such a wonderful host and helped us with any requests we had alongside giving us lots of great recommendations. We loved how friendly the atmosphere was and felt very comfortable, thank you for looking after us!

Cons: Nothing really, the only thing to note is you can’t have breakfast at the property unless you buy bits to have in the morning but there are plenty of places to go in the local area.

The best place to stay in Porto

Pros: N/A Plenty of cafes 5 minutes walk away for breakfast. Hotel was beautiful. The owners were so kind and friendly and told me how to get to all places of interest and informed me of nicest places to eat. My room was so lovely. The bed was so comfy had 3 great night's of sleep. Bathroom very modern. Shower was amazing. I had a little balcony which overlooked the garden and stunning pool. Room was cleaned everyday and fresh towels. I would definitely stay there again. Roberto organised my private transfers from and to Porto Airport.

Like being welcomed home

Pros: Arriving at Maison Cabral felt like being welcomed by long lost family. Alberto and Susana were the best hosts, and the property is just immaculate. Clean rooms, cosy beds, an amazing rain shower - it was the perfect place to escape to rest after busy days in Porto.

Cons: Only that we didn’t spend longer there!
