A charming stay in Porto
Pros: We had an amazing time in Porto, and this place was perfect for our group of five. 57 is in a quiet, mostly residential part of Bonfim, but still close to shops, cafes, and bars. Plus, all the historic sights are just a short walk away. Fernando was a fantastic host—super welcoming and attentive—and made sure we had everything we needed. Communication was smooth and really helpful before our trip. We’d love to stay here again!
Cons: Just a heads-up if you’re a light sleeper: like many historic buildings, soundproofing isn’t perfect, and with the cobblestone streets, there can be some noise. If that’s a concern, bringing earplugs might help.

Pros: This accomodation is very spacious, clean and historical. Fernando paid special attention to details and supplied us with a comprehensive list of sites and restaurants. He was always available to answer any of our questions The apartment is walking distance to all the sites in the historical Porto district.

Pros: We had a fantastic break in no 57. The house was amazing : very authentic . The host Fernando was very welcoming and gave us lots of information about the house and its history. He also gave us many tips about things to do in Porto. The house is very spacious and very well looked after. There was also a heating for the chilly mornings and evenings which we appreciated.

Wonderful! We will definitely be staying here again, and look forward to seeing Fernando once more!
Pros: Fernando, the host, was incredibly welcoming. He took time to show us around the property, explaining the history. He also gave us some very useful tips on places to visit and some incredible places to eat. He really made our stay something special. The property is 15-20 minutes walk from the centre (also about 20 minutes walk from the train station). This suited us, because we like to walk, also because it felt like we were living among the locals.
Cons: Due to the age and construction of the house, it can be a little noisy at night, creaking etc. This didn't bother me, but it spooked my wife!

An excellent authentic base for a visit to Porto.
Pros: Fernando was very welcoming on our arrival and gave us an interesting history of the property. He also organised a pick up from the airport which was excellent and a Fado evening which exceeded our expectations. The house was spacious and comfortable, we are looking forward to returning in the future.
Cons: There is nothing not to like.
