A wonderful experience.

Pros: Our rooms were beautiful - just as in the photos - lovely polished wood flooring and filled with antiques, yet modern bathrooms. Nelson met us at the house and welcomed us and was very helpful. I loved my room in the front as when I opened the window I could hear the occasional tram go past (every half hour) and the squawk of seagulls. I love trams and love being near the sea so couldn't be better. With the windows closed I could hardly hear a thing. We had the whole house to ourselves and could have made food, but we didn't bother - just used the kettle and coffee machine downstairs and it was good to each have a kettle in our own rooms for early morning tea in bed. There was fresh milk in the fridge. It was a very nice experience and I would recommend the house to friends and will stay again when next visiting Porto, which I hope is very soon.

Cons: Maybe just a tad closer to the city centre.

Pros: Nelson, the Host, was very Friendly. He explained lot about the House and the History. He also gave a lot of good advice, advice about Porto and what to do. He had some good recommendations for seafood restaurants. We really appreciate his help and can recommend the house

Great property, highly recommended

Pros: Great property, great quiet location. Nelson the owner was great and gave us great advice. There’s a kitchen downstairs that we can use and lots of free coffee and fruit.

Pros: The location was ideal- right in the heart of the city but on a very quiet street. Nelson, the owner, was so hospitable, tending to every question and need. The guest house is beautiful and impeccably clean.

Cons: Nothing we didn’t like.

Pros: Grosses schönes Zimmer mit 2 Badezimmern. Sehr netter Vermieter, der uns viele Tipps gab. Lage optimal, mitten im Geschehen, dennoch sehr ruhig.

Cons: Vielleicht, dass wir uns aufgrund der Beschreibung auf ein Apartment eingestellt hatten. Selber kochen war aber für einmal kein Thema bei dem kulinarischen Angebot in Porto.

Beautiful property and welcoming owners

Pros: I really appreciate Nelson’s hospitality. And the property is gorgeous. I appreciate the antique pieces all around.

Cons: There are a lot of stairs. We were traveling with a young baby and everything that goes with it, while we didn’t mind, but I can imagine there are some accessibility challenges.
