São Miguel 50

Pros: It was our second stay at São Miguel 50 and we weren't disappointed. Location is ideal for visiting Porto, the area is quiet and beautiful, with several nice little restaurants and cafes. The apartment itself is clean, spacious and comfortable, we had everything we needed: a comfortable bed with a very warm blanket, hot shower, fully equipped kitchen, space to unpack and keep clothes for several days, a working AC (we appreciated the possibility of heating and used it occasionally), good wi-fi signal and plenty of electric sockets in the right places. The owner made sure, if everything was ok.

Cons: The only hitch was that the only mirror is in the bathroom and it's not a full length one.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay, nice location, friendly owner

Pros: The location was great. The owner was friendly, easy to contact and helpful. The property was comfortable and it was nice to have a little balcony for morning coffee.

Cons: The property is nice, comfortable and in a nice area. There are a few little additions that would be nice like a mirror above the table for hairstyling and makeup and also a bottle opener.

We loved Porto and staying here made it really easy to explore the city.

Pros: Location was very central, very easy to explore the city as first-timers.

Cons: We couldn’t figure out how to get the outside hallway lights to turn on when we needed to head out of the apartment at night. We are simple people from North America😭😂 we need instructions. Shower drain was clogged. Besides those minor things, everything was great

The perfect place for a short stay in Porto!

Wonderful location and clean apartment

Pros: The location was wonderful after I travelled a little bit and understood where I was. The apartment is very close to the centre and it is convenient for travelling alone and working in the city, just a few minutes walk to a lot of places. It was a great stay, a great apartment, and clean that this was the most important to me!

Cons: In the apartment, it was difficult to work because there were street renovations with a lot of noise. So I worked in coffee shops in the centre. The equipment was okay. I think it could be upgraded a bit and brought a convenient wine opener because it's not easy for a girl travelling alone to use only her strength to open it😊 Advise from me to the next traveller's that is important to get Sim card before getting out of the airport, because i couldn't reach the owner without internet, and i needed all his details that he sent to enter the building and the apartment. I would recommend adding pictures to the code entry of the building if the owner not able come to meet, and a picture of the box with the keys because it took me a while to understand until i find it. The second flour is not on second sters and higher, so it took some time to find the right apartment. And last thing, I recommend correcting the internet password under the right line because I needed to work, and the password didn't work, and it was under another line on the same page.

Amazing apartment amazing location

Pros: The apparently was lovely very clean and loved the property. The host was very good with checkin details. The area was fantastic so close to everything. Would highly recommend and would return again.

A nice apartment in the historical center

Pros: Great location for visiting the city, apartment is clean, comfortable, functional, we had everything we needed (comfortable bed, hot shower, working wifi, storage place to unpack for several days, all the necessary kitchen appliances). We also appreciated a powerful hair dryer, a place to put the shampoo etc. in the shower, a shelf rack to put toiletries near the washbasin, a drying rack on the balcony and easily accessible sockets to recharge electronic devices. Check-in was contactless, there was a booklet with practical information in several languages, fire safety equipment was clearly visible. Didn't have any problems that needed a contact with the owner. We'd be happy to come back.

Cons: Humidity in the bathroom is inevitably high, even if you open the window (which one hesitates to do during cold November nights), so some black mould in the shower needs attention. The only mirror's in the bathroom, a full length mirror would be nice (there's a place for it near the door next to the fire extinguisher). Being in the old town, you have the neighbours really close, and though they weren't at all noisy, we could hear them talking or watching TV. The balcony's very close to neighbour's terrace and light from other neighbour's apartment can wake you up at night if you forget to close the bathroom door.

A really nice stay, in a prefect location in the city Centre, with great facilities and very nice staff!

Pros: Location of the accomodation the facilities within the room (kitchen, balcony), the space in the room (bigger than a normal hotel room).

Cons: A lot of stairs up to the accomodation, view from balcony even though having a balcony is great already!
