LovelyStay - Downtown Studio with Pool

A lovely stay indeed, I will stay there again.

Pros: Great, lively location. Plenty of places to eat very close by, of all types. Just a short walk to the major attractions. A small but perfectly formed studio apartment.

Cons: The sofa is a little small if you're 1.85m, but that's only a minor thing. There's also a perfectly good dining table to use.

Pros: Great location in Porto! The apartment was clean and well-equipped. The pool in the courtyard was an added highlight. Thank you!

Very cosy and comfortable appartment in great location.

Pros: Great location, nice to be on the 3rd floor. Very quiet to sleep, cosy interior.

Cons: It would be nice to have more than one set of towels if you stay longer than 3 nights.

Pros: Location pretty central, very good vibe. Liked the balcony and a swim in the pool each day. Bedroom quiet, shower excellent.

Cons: Corkscrew screwed! Remote for main tv did not work. Would have been good to have codes for garden without asking for them.

Perfection

Pros: Location was great, and very safe area. Apartment was spacious and comfortable. Loved the pool. All facilities were perfect, smart TV in the bedroom was a bonus. I would definitely recommend to anyone visiting Porto!

Cons: Could have had more towels and toiletries :)

Perfect location for a great city break, Within easy access to everywhere. Deffo would stay again.

Pros: Entrance great and easy access with codes. A lift was useful with bags and clean and wide staircase. Loved balcony and cleanliness of place. Aircon good to have and once got it working it was cool in entrance and lounge area. Pool was very nice and sunny area. Easy access again with codes. Bed was comfortable and plenty of storage. Wonderful shower with plenty of room. great to have fridge and hob was good.

Cons: Aircon did not reach bedroom area and could not leave windows open due to nearby bar noise. Needed more choice for pillows as too bulky for our liking. At least 2 pool beds were broken and unfortunately a lot of noise with building next door. The lift did not work when we went to leave, It came up but would not go down. As I am not keen on lifts I used the stairs.

Pros: Nice and spacious apartment with an excellent location.

Cons: Water capacity in the shower was low. Often the second person ended with cold water.

Great base to explore Porto from.

Pros: Great location with some good local places to eat and drink. Apartment was clean and comfortable and has a nice balcony. Added bonus of an outdoor pool to use.

Great for a stay in Porto

Pros: Really nice location in the old town of Porto. Spacious apartment with great balcony, full kitchen and lounge area. We were on the 3rd floor and there is a lift. Pool was clean and a bonus to have access to - it was nice to have somewhere to chill after walking up and down hills :) Lots of bakeries and breakfast places close by for the morning. Good bars and restaurants for the evening. Easy to get to the touristy bits of Porto.

Pros: Very central and convenient location. Apartment was spotlessly clean and perfect for a couple. Shower was great. Loved having access to the swimming pool for some R&R after a busy day sightseeing. There are lots of great bars and restaurants nearby although there is a bit of noise from the street (it's a side street so not busy as such, but you can hear people outside the local bars. This wasn't an issue for us, but it might be if you are a light sleeper or go to bed early (not sure why you would do that in Porto, but hey).

Cons: I found the self check-in process quite frustrating. We arrived early (noon) and check-in was not available until 4pm. I had requested an early check-in (if that was not available, to be able to leave our bags somewhere safe). I ended up messaging an online bot that told me to send an email, which I did. I received a reply back that the flat was being cleaned and as soon as it was available I would receive a message (like previous emails requesting details etc) with instructions on how to access the property - no mention of what to do with our bags. I emailed again to ask what we could do with our bags, but got no response. Eventually I did get an email from someone telling me off for not emailing the correct email address (it seems you need to email the central team if you want a prompt response, not the individual tram member who had previously responded). 4pm came and went and there was still no email with instructions. In frustration I called a number only to be told that a message had been sent at 3:14pm. I hadn't received any emails and requested to have the codes re-sent by email. It turned out that there was an automated message in the Booking app, however I had to proactively go into the app to look for it - it didn't send an alert. I'm sure it's just a system issue but I found it all rather stressful. One small other niggle: the towels were small and rather thin plus there were no extras available for the pool. The bed was very hard and not to my liking but some people might be okay with it.
