Pros: Great location and a spacious apartment for a couple.

Cons: The room gets very hot and opening the windows is necessary to try and sleep but that lets the street noise in , which is incessant. Air-conditioning would help. The host is very present

We really enjoyed our little home for 3 days in Flores st Porto .

Pros: We loved the little balcony seats The music coming in from the street . There was everything that a person would need .Down to first aid kit , iron ,fan if needed as no air cond . No washing machine but I did see a laundromat just around the corner .

Cons: After we found the note re the small window covering there was nothing we didn’t like .

Well-equipped apartment in a lively area of Porto

Pros: Flowerstreet54 is on the edge of the historic Ribeira area of Porto. The atmosphere is lively from late morning into the evening! Fortunately the double shutters are very effective in excluding both noise and light. We usually like to self-cater and this apartment is better equipped than many we've stayed in. The area is packed with historic attractions, wine bars, ice cream shops and cafes. There is really a lot to do - take a river cruise, eat at a family-run back street restaurant or enjoy a fado show. There are a lot of great recommendations in the blog section of Flowerstreet54's website.

Cons: It's hard to think of anything to write. Maybe the only thing to say is that it wasn't clear that the kitchen/lounge area and bedroom have different doors from the hall but part of the wall separating them is open so you can walk directly from one to the other.

Pros: lovely modern and spacious apartment in great location. loads of restaurants and bars right on the doorstep. all main tourist sights within easy walk. stones throw from the Sao Bento metro stop. responsive and helpful hosts. comfortable bed. great shower/water power.

Beautiful but loud

Pros: The location was great, close to the river. The apartment outside was beautiful and cosy on the inside. The host was nice and very responsive. All basic facilities are in the apartment.

Cons: Unfortunately the noise kept us from sleeping. The apartment is well isolated, and the windows block out most noise from the street, but it still is a very busy, loud street. Most noise however came from inside the apartment building, with loud knocking, music, moving furniture... from other guests and/or neighbouring apartments. The apartment gets very warm even though outside was mid-twenties (°C). It has no AC, and opening the windows was annoying with the noise. We always had the small fan on when in the apartment. We were also a bit disappointed with the 'rental-vibe', where we only got two toilet paper rolls for 12 days, no cleaning during our stay, no fresh towels... It's a very DIY-experience, where other places include this as a standard.
