Pros: There was nothing I did not like, the location was perfect and the apartment was just so cozy and the view amazing. The staff was easy to reach and very helpful in case of questions. The apartment seems well isloated, although it was february and very cold, the apartment was not (despite the lack of heating as in all portuguese homes).the price is a little bit on the high end but I had an absolutely fantastic stay. The kitchen is well equipped even though I was mostly eating out, but also great for the morning coffee or an evening tea. Can't wait for my next visit!

Location, location, location!
Pros: Amazing location and views. It had everything we needed for a 4 day stay. The local host company provided the linen.. great fluffy towels! In May we didn't need the aircon but it's an attic apartment and I'm sure it would cook in the summer.
Cons: We booked at the last minute and the host was a little slow to get back to us when we wanted to make some changes, this was even more confusing because we got a lot of messages whilst we were trying to contact the host, only to realize they were all automated messages from Booking.com without actually providing any answers. A few minor points: washer/dryer but no drying rack, the bathroom has a slight lingering moisture issue, there were only cakes of soap, no shampoo/conditioner (just would have been nice to know), there is nowhere to leave luggage after checkout if you have a late connection. Oh yes; it's all downhill from the train station, so it's all uphill on the way back; if you've been to Porto this will make sense!

Pros: Great location, great view on both sides from the top floor. Clean, well equiped flat. The landlady was very helpful.
Cons: Unfortunately it is noisy due to the traffic in this location. Not enought toilette paper and no kitchen towel at all, which is a bit annoying. We needed to buy, it doesn't cost a lot but it makes life easier.

great location - cannot be beat
Pros: Great location. Beds were a bit hard but that seemed to be a pattern in a number of places we stayed. Easy to walk to key parts of Porto, amazing view from the apartment sitting on the River.
Cons: It might sound a bit petty but we ran out of toilet paper - we were a family of 5. Three medium rolls were left at check-in but that was not enough. No stores around the unit had any in stock - and when we pinged the host to say we ran out -- the answer was that rolls were left in the unit and if wanted more - we needed to pay by the roll. That did not happen at any other unit we stay at across Portugal or Spain. My suggestion would be - leave more if this is the policy.
