Porto Republica Downtown

Pros: Perfect location, road was busy and windows didn’t block much noise but I brought ear plugs and slept fine. Bed was extremely comfortable, room was much bigger than expected so we were very delighted. Staff, although through messaging on booking.com, were quick in their replies and helped as much as they could. Very easy to get in and out.

Cons: Noise of street, needs a little bit of refurbishment but that also brings a more authentic vibe to the accommodation.

Pros: Very good location. Coffee shop downstairs which was great, because there are no coffee and tea or any orther fasilities.

Cons: A coffee and tea station should be nice.

Pros: Near everything, including the bus stop. Supermarkets are walking distance. The room is very clean. Communication is very smooth and they respond right away. Check in and check out is very easy.

Cons: I stayed on the ground floor (or 1st floor, rm 103), and I can hear the upstairs person everytime he/she walks. I did not mind at first but he/she started pacing or moving around at 4am-ish which woke me up. 🙊

Pros: Great location - as first time visitors to Porto, only 10/15 min walk from the main places we wanted to see! Room was bigger than anticipated. Check in was very simple.

Cons: Next to the main road meant our room was noisy. Bathroom was a little small, and the shower didn’t hook onto the wall meaning showering was difficult.

Peaceful city find.

Pros: This spacious room was a peaceful oasis after being in the tourism chaos. Its a very old building and its renovations have retained that character. We had a room facing the rear courtyard, so it was very quiet, with views of the city. It had a very comfortable king size bed with good linen, a good size bathroom and plenty of luggage space. It's a short walk to the old city and tourist sites, with plenty of cafes and restaurants next to it. Very glad we chose this place!

Lovely clean room in the centre of Porto

Pros: The location was fantastic, our room was very clean, big & bright.

Cons: This is not a hostel vibe, if someone expects to meet people they probably won’t find it there. It sometimes feels like a ghost town and there is no reception/concierge or someone if you need help.

Pros: Really fancy room. Gives indeed vibes of Porto. Convenient location and comfort check in. It's been rainy the whole day, so we enjoyed coziness of the apartment

Cons: Maybe shower worked a bit weird, but didnt' marked overall experience.
