Belas Artes Apartments

Excellent stay.

Pros: Location excellent. Property was very clean, despite a little on the small side for 4 it had the essential facilities needed. Host was very good indeed.

Cons: A few more cups & mugs needed. Limited storage/wardrobe space especially in the bedroom immediately off the social area.

Superb location and excellent value for money

Pros: Excellent location and price in a local neighbourhood of Porto with a great cafe next door ( €1.50 for coffee and freshly baked Nata) and a good selection of restaurants nearby most notably Casa Guedes for traditional Portugese cuisine and culture. Property was well presented and comfortable and only a 15 minute walk to the centre Special mention for the super friendly cleaning staff who helped us with access to the apartment 🙌

Great city. Great studio apartment. Great location.

Pros: Terrace and great view from the terrace. Spacious. Great location. On the top floor (4th) - no lift but not an issue for us - great exercise. Washing machine with built in tumble dryer.

Cons: Bathroom was cosy, but expected with a studio apartment. No complaints.

Pros: Location was super,very easy to access all the spots we wanted to see.Area had plenty of restaurants and shops, apartment had a balcony which is a great asset in a busy city.

Cons: The towels were not good,really should be replaced.There was only two half decent size cups to drink tea from,as a group of four and not coffee drinkers this was an issue No small side plates available,very small things that could be easily fixed and my review would be more positive.The apartment could do with a coat of paint just to freshen it up. Overall we were happy enough but with attention to a few things could have been better.

Comfy apartment room

Pros: Very clean and spacious apartment. There were three of us and plenty of room. Host was very helpful and gave local recommendations for our stay. Very comfy bed, small bottles of shampoo and soap provided and a small kitchen with utensils, stove, fridge, oven, kettle and coffee maker available. Lovely balcony and view of the local area.

Cons: Need some hooks in the bathroom for towels. We couldn't find any pots or pans to use on the stove. The apartment is up a steep staircase of 4 floors - worth mentioning if you aren't able to climb.

Ideal for a short family city break in Porto.

Pros: Location was ideal to explore Porto. Apartment was very clean and comfortable. Paulo was brilliant, great communication and a lovely welcome. We really enjoyed our stay in Belas Artes apartments.

Comfortable clean studio in Porto

Pros: This was a 3rd floor studio with bed-settee, clean and ready when we arrived. There was room to share with another family member using the bed-settee (set up each evening) and store 2 suitcases. The kitchen appliances worked and enough for the 3 of us. Location very good for sight seeing in Porto and over the bridge for port-tasting, if you like walking!

Cons: The bed-settee was not comfortable and a little noisy. The bedroom is not a separate room and therefore little privacy. This is not a big problem if you are aware. The bathroom was a little small for 3 people

Pros: The apartment was great and had everything we needed. Paulo was super friendly and gave us recommendations for the city. It was an amazing stay and we’d love to come back.

Excellent stay. Will recommend to friends and will return if we ever go back to Porto.

Pros: Excellent stay. Great location. Never more than a 10 min walk from everything. Bars and food spots behind the building. Paulo was a great host and I would recommend staying here.

Cons: We stayed on the top floor as we liked the big balcony, so a lift/elevator would have been nice as it got a bit tiring by the time we got the stairs to the top. But we knew this when booking. It’s a minor inconvenience. If you don’t like too many steps stay on a lower floor.
