great location and good apartment in Porto

Pros: location is fantastic but needs a fan as it’s noisy with the windows open.

Cons: needs a fan as it’s noisy with the windows open, a mirror for women to get dressed. couple of extra towels and pillow cases would be good, especially for a long stay

Bright and tastefully decorated apartment in city centre

Pros: Spacious, bright and tastefully decorated apartment in city centre of Porto. Though a bit away and more uphill from the big tourist masses closer to the river. Loved the old-fashioned window shutters. All amenities available for self-catered stay. Self-service entry with a lockbox. Shower area is a bit unusual. But strong water pressure. Complimentary bottle of water, port wine and tea/coffee. Comfortable double bed with some choice in pillows. Apartment building is close to a cute square (Praça de Carlos Alberto) with terraces and multiple options for food and drinks. Short walking distance to Clérigos Tower and famous Livreria Lello.

Cons: A caveat for those susceptible to it. Soundproofing in the apartment is minimal. Windows don't keep out street noises (though mostly very atmospheric). There is a restaurant and a bar under the apartment building, but no loud dance music. Also you hear the presence of other guests in the other apartments due to the wooden floors. But it's quite common for these kind of apartment buildings there. Lighting in toilet is cold and a bit dim. Would suggest to replace it with a warmer and brighter light source. No dishwasher present, though the preparation for it is there. Wall needs to be repainted, where there has obviously been a repair.

Pros: location was fantastic. really clean apartment with the amenities your would expect. felt very safe the entire time. would recommend to anyone and would return! like all the reviews say, it can get noisy at night, but we slept through and I’m a light sleeper! not a real problem at all.

Cons: only one key! you have to use the key to get in and out of the property. For convenience it would be good to get 2! and maybe some nets on the windows? for some reason there were loads of flies?

Pros: Emplacement idéal pour découvrir Porto. Quartier animé ce qui s’entend dans le logement sans être dérangeant. Logement propre et bien équipé.

Pros: Super Lage, schöne Wohnung, Küche mit allem ausgestattet. Preis-Leistung sehr gut. Check-In über Türcode hat gut geklappt. Warum muss man dann nur Extragebühren zahlen für spätes Check-In!?

Cons: In der Dusche muss man sich bücken, da sie unter einer Treppenschräge ist; etwas unbequem für alle < 180 cm. Die Amaturen im Badezimmer sind etwas abgerockt und ranzig, auch hätte das Nachttischchen geputzt werden können. WC-Spültaste auch versifft - das ist was eklig.

Ubicación perfecta

Pros: Ubicación excelente, cama cómoda, cocina equipada, decoración sencilla y con estilo. Todo bastante nuevo.

Cons: Deberían mejorar el cerramiento de las ventanas (hay mucho ruido en la calle). Se aconseja llevar tapones para dormir. La puerta del baño no cierra bien (cuesta mucho cerrarla, podrían poner un pomo o algo para tirar), si no tienes confianza con quien vayas, tenlo en cuenta.

Pros: El apartamento es muy bonito y acogedor. La cama es muy cómoda. La ubicación genial.

Cons: Hay ruido por la noche porque hay un bar de copas justo debajo. Yo lo sabía por los comentarios de otros huéspedes y llevé tapones, así que no tuve problemas.
