Cardosas Spacious Studio by LovelyStay

Pros: I had a truly lovely stay in Porto thanks to the Stay team. The apartment was fully equipped with everything I needed — it felt like a comfortable and convenient home away from home. Despite the busy and sometimes noisy market right outside, it was surprisingly quiet once I closed the windows, and I had no trouble sleeping. What stood out the most was the staff’s responsiveness and kindness. Whenever I had a question or issue, they replied immediately via WhatsApp and resolved everything quickly and professionally. Everyone I interacted with was warm and genuinely helpful. On my last day, I mistakenly thought my check-out date was a day later, but they kindly allowed me to stay until 5pm without any extra charge. Thanks to their generosity, I was able to wrap up my Porto trip calmly and without stress. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Cons: There were a few minor issues during my stay. I saw two cockroaches, which seemed to have come up through the drain. I had to catch them myself, which was unpleasant, but I understand this can happen occasionally in older buildings or central urban areas — especially during a longer stay. On the day of check-in, there was no hot water, so I couldn’t take a shower even though I was very tired from traveling. Also, when all the windows were closed, there was a faint paint smell in the room. Additionally, there were two occasions where miscommunication between the customer service team and the facility staff caused scheduling mix-ups. While these situations were eventually resolved, they caused some confusion and inconvenience at the time.

Stylish, Cozy, and Perfectly Located!

Pros: The studio is modern with new furniture and a very comfortable mattress. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything needed for cooking and has modern appliances. There are three tables which make the space very practical. Internet and TV worked perfectly. The location and view are excellent — less than a minute from São Bento metro and several bus stops, and very close to a supermarket (Auchan) and a pharmacy, which was really convenient.

Cons: Overall, my experience was very good. The only minor issues were that the bathroom ventilator was a bit weak and the vacuum cleaner needed a battery charger adapter (or a wired one would be fine), which made cleaning the floor using mob a bit difficult. Otherwise, everything was excellent!
