Lovely apartment with great view of Douro River

Pros: The apartment has a wonderful view of the Douro river, just stunning. The two bedrooms are a good size. Even the smaller second bedroom has a balcony and view of the street and neighbouring cafes. Has restaurants, cafes and mini mart 30 metres walk from apartment very handy.

Cons: You use a door code to enter apartment block, them quite a few stairs to get to apartment door, that’s fine as long as you have strength to carry your suitcases up the stairs, then you use a key box to get your door key and then use the key to enter the apartment. This is not really a negative, just the process.

Excellent river view in the cosy center

Pros: Excellent location near every Porto sign places, comfortable, light and spacious apartment with a wonderful view of Duoro river. We enjoyed every bit of the stay.

Cons: Be prepared for an expensive parking garage (36 euro per 24h) if you have a car. However it is in 3 minutes walk from apartment, and you also can stay for short time to unload your luggage just in front of the house.

Spacious apartment with river view

Pros: Bright, spacious apartment with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. There is a fabulous river view from the living room. We loved the buzzy location (and we aren't young!). There are bars and restaurants nearby to suit all pockets. The staff of City Break apartments were so helpful when I had a problem and they sorted out luggage storage and a transfer to the airport on the last day. We loved our stay and hope to go back.

Cons: Just an advisory for those who struggle with mobility and don't have use of a car: the apartment is up one flight of stairs and is about a 10 minute walk to public transport (buses). You will need to get used to hills, but that's Porto!

Excellent spacious flat with great view

Pros: Very spacious flat. Perfect view from the living room directly towards the Douro river during sunset. This view is actually better than that from the top of the bridge. Location is great also. The hosts are very friendly and helped us with an early check-in as early as about 2pm with no extra fee. We also had the luxury of storing our luggage at their office after checking-out.

Cons: Nothing critical. Lighting in the living room could be better. There are currently only three lights and most areas are not covered. Cookingware could also improve a little by replacing the frying pan - it is not recommended to use broken non-stick frying pan.
