Pros: Good communication with host answering all messages prior and during stay. Accomadation was in good location near the river, 2 comfortable bedrooms, clean and spacious, full of character. Kitchen, dining was well supplied not that we eat in, great little restaurant a few metres from apartment, we loved Porto. Informative welcome pack and kind gesture of bottle of wine on arrival

Cons: Showers could do with a bit of updating, although plenty of hot water and lovely clean towels. Hand rail along the stairs would offer more safety.

Fantastic host, fantastic apartment and fabulous Porto

Pros: We moved to this property after one night staying in Porto as the previous one had a leak in the roof ( heavy rain and issues with their flat above ) so we booked Authentic Porto Village. They were extremely accommodating letting us have access early with a meet and greet. The apartment was spacious , elegant across three levels. The bathrooms were equipped with toiletries, hairdryers x2, white fluffy embroidered towels and clean with plenty of hot water. The bedrooms were modern, large,AC and comfortable. The location was perfect with lots of traditional restaurants close by.This property was easily accessible to the river side 5 mins either down some steps ( lots of them ) or down the step roads. Both are worthwhile attempting. The accommodation was definitely worth a visit and I would recommend them.

Spacious & Comfortable

Pros: Two story apartment with two separate bathrooms and kitchen areas and one living room area. One amazing terrace with wonderful view and place to enjoy a glass of wine. Location is central, but still a bit remote so that the area remains quiet in the evening. Host very kind, we also got a bottle of wine to welcome us. Very good and fast communication. We clearly would book the apartment again.

Cons: Only minor complain about the showers which are quite in a bad shape and could benefit from a refurbishment.

Lovely visit to a wonderful city

Pros: Great location to use as a base for walking around Porto. Great host who left lots of information about what to do and see. Great views of the river.

Cons: Hard to access with a car for luggage drop off

Pros: Proximity to all the sights in Porto and very friendly host

Cons: Ac in the sitting room wasn't working, and despite the host's best attempts, they could not get in a technician If you are a sound sleeper, noise from upstairs flat and surrounding flats could be disturbing

Pros: Well-equipped newly refurbished apartment in a strategic location. Quiet street. Easy communication with the host.

Cons: Ceiling insulation non-existing, you hear every step of your neighbours above you whis is disturbing namely late at night. This is the only downside. I.e. a top floor appartment would probably be the best.

Porto was amazing…we found a lovely family owned restaurant that was amazing..look forward to returning

Pros: We loved everything about the apartment and the location…

Pros: A good location: close to the river but also the old town. We loved having the terrace for an evening drink/morning coffee with views of the Douro!

Cons: A musty smell (that we recognise from living in an old building) The bed seemed to slant towards the floor slightly.

Pros: Splendid location, views and clean comfortable amenities

Cons: My mobile didnt work in portugal so it was tricky contactung the host to get the entry code.

I felt like I was in pirates of the Caribbean magical

Pros: Location and views were amazing. So clean so comfortable definitely coming back we absolutely loved it

Cons: I didn’t like anything about the property it had it all a true authentic experience in old town Porto
