Oporto apartment Batalha

Pros: Nice place with light. Nice to have a wash machine. Nice to have an elevator. Good location.

Cons: We were 4 adults and I didn't like the lack of privacy and also that one bed was the couch. Maybe my fault but I thought I was making sure not to get a place with a couch as a bed. It was more an studio than an appartement.

Perfect for a family city break

Pros: Perfect for a city break, on 4th floor with great views, lift in building. Responsive host, easy access. Two car parks next door, €10 for outdoor or €16 for indoor cooler space.

The view says it all!

Pros: The location and view out of the windows was fantastic. The parking garage next door to the apartment was perfect.

Nice studio apartment ideal for solo traveller

Pros: This was a really nice studio apartment, very clean and comfortable. I accessed the building and got the keys easily but I did need some help working out where the apartment was. On the 4th floor accessed by lift. Then it took me a while to work out which of 4 doors was the correct apartment (there was no traditional numbering). All communications with the hosts was in Portuguese so I used Google Translate to work out what they were telling me and to reply. The apartment was in a very handy location opposite where the hop on hop off buses left from as well as a very nice bakery/cafe. There was a taxi rank close by which was also handy when I needed to get to the station.

Cons: Finding the apartment inside the building was a challenge . Also no supermarket or grocery nearby where I could buy any supplies like milk. Apart from that it was a lovely studio apartment. A coffee table in front of the couch would make a big improvement, so would sending a photo of the apartment door.

Best apartment

Pros: Everything. The apartment was in an excellent location and had everything we needed. We have been in Portugal for 3 weeks and it was the best bed we have had so far.... comfortable and NOT hard as a rock!

Fabulous apartment in an excellent location, we

Pros: The location was fabulous. You could walk to many shops and cafes and the funicular to and from the waterfront was just a very short walk away. The apartment was very comfortable and clean, and had everything you could require. The host was very helpful and provided excellent instructions to access the building. The parking was great value and next door to the apartment, and the attendants were very helpful.

Cons: The only downside was the low water pressure in the shower but the host explained this is the case in this building and anyway it didn’t detract from our stay as everything else was so good.

Pros: excellent location, close to the center, opposite the hop on hop off bus station. Free parking by the road, if not available, parking in the garage. Quiet building and surroundings where you feel completely safe.

Cons: Damp windows. But this is most likely due to the old building..

Pros: The apartment has a great location, with a view of the Luis Bridge from the windows. It is clean and well-equipped. The price is also very good.

Cons: A bit crowded for a big family.

Pros: Rosa & Paulo are fantastic host. They allowed us late check-in. Paulo showed us a place to park for free near their apartment. The apartment is centrally located, clean, well furnished, heated & have all the necessary household appliances.
