Good for a family stay

Pros: Owner is so kind to wait us for late check in. Well equipped kitchen facilities. A bit cold in the flat, air conditioning seems not enough. Sometime hot water runs out, have to wait a while for it reheated.

Cons: Close to city centre and walking distance to all attractions. Quiet area.

A wonderful holiday with a perfect host Maria, who provided every comfort and good local information

Pros: Perfect location on the border of the historic quarter with easy access to the City centre and river, on foot, by bus or taxi. The apartment is on the second floor of a lovely old building with a balcony overlooking a very pretty garden. Very interesting locality with many little galleries, cafes and restaurants plus Porto’s first museum and art gallery.

Cons: There was nothing we didn’t like, but there are two flights of stairs which could be difficult for those with mobility problems.

Very peaceful, comfortable easy access to River Douro and sight seeing.

Pros: On the edge of Ribiera quiet area with bars and restaurants close by. Very peaceful. Excellent facilities:WiFi, microwave, hob, shower was great. Bed was very comfortable. There were air conditioning units but were didn’t use them.

I love the feel of the apartment and it felt very authentic, not like staying in a sterile hotel.

Pros: Our host was excellent. Our uber driver needed guidance in finding the property and she was very helpful. We had a misunderstanding which our host fix immediately.

Don’t miss out on this terrific place to stay when visiting Porto.

Pros: A beautiful apartment. It had everything one would need. The bed was so comfortable with soft, white linen, the towels were fluffy and the dark furniture gave the home a traditional feel. There was a place to do our laundry which we needed, and great spaces to eat outside. Maria was amazingly helpful at every turn.

Cons: We loved everything inside. Outside, however, was a little noisy while we were there. There was building work going on next door which caused some disturbance but Maria had a good relationship with the site workers and asked them for a later start. Maria lives close by and has lived in the same road all her life and is a magnificent problem solver.

Fab apartment, in a great location, with a lovely host.

Pros: Lovely spacious apartment in a great area and very close to everything. The apartment was spotless and beautifully decorated. The balcony at the back looked over a lovely garden that you also had access to. The host Maria, was so kind and helpful and even dropped in extra towels during the week. Would highly recommend it.

The facility, location, host and comfort exceeded our expectations! We will stay again!

Pros: we loved the following about the place: - VERY clean and well staged - truly felt like home - the host, Maria, is very kind, welcoming and pleasant- she took the time to locate the places to visit in Porto on the map for us and introduce the city - resources and tools were accessible to provide comfort - the garden is very romantic and serene - the location was central to Porto's tourist attractions, boutiques, galleries and restaurants

Cons: We wish we stayed longer.

A comfortable, clean and cosy apartment J,T&M from Australia

Pros: Maria was warm and welcoming, attentive, helpful. Comfy beds, soft towels, fine linen. Well equiped, pantry items and bowl of fruit. Local food at restaurant/ bar next door. 601 bus to / from airport costs 2.50 euro

Cons: Need to be mobile for getting luggage up 4 floors and for walk to town. We’re in our 70s and coped ok!

Pros: The property was full of character and well equipped.

Cons: The shower pressure was a bit low but this wasn't a problem for us.
