Pros: This hotel is absolutely worth recommending. Everything was perfectly organized and exceeded our expectations. Special thanks go to the staff, who did everything possible to make our stay truly flawless. Emilio welcomed us with a warm smile and kindly offered us an upgrade to a better room. Many thanks as well to the lovely lady serving breakfast for the delicious omelets and scrambled eggs with bacon, and to the owner of the property for the pleasant conversations and excellent management. The property itself is simply stunning — the rooms, the garden, breakfast served in the greenhouse, the corridors, and the views are all breathtaking. It was genuinely hard to leave. I haven’t encountered a place like this in a long time, and it truly deserves the highest ratings. Thank you once again, and I hope to see you again during our next stay in Porto.

Super comfortable

Pros: Super clean, well heated (important in Porto winters) ;) super nice quality.

Cons: Nothing. The road there is a bit tricky with a pushchair but that’s not the properties foult.

Pros: The service was amazing. Emilio the receptionist was very considerate and extremely helpful. Even upgraded us to a better room.

The best part in our trip to Portu

Pros: We got upgrade to the signature room on the upper floor. The view was incredible, clean, warm wooden floor. Nice breakfast at the garden and quiet location. But again the view from the room was fenomenal

Hidden paradise

Pros: It was an amazing hotel — truly a hidden paradise. You could stay there just to enjoy the beautiful garden alone. The rooms were very spacious and felt brand new. Everything was exceptionally clean. Breakfast had plenty of options and was very satisfying. The staff were incredibly warm and friendly. We will definitely go back!

Wonderful and quiet place close to Porto city center

Pros: Wonderful place with a ver nice garden looking at the Douro. Rooms were very clean, nice and warm, and very quiet. Very close to the Alfandega congress centre (I was there for work), and 10 min walking from the city centre. I did not try the breakfast, but the breafast room is a very nice building in the middle of the garden

Really great stay in this beautiful property, with a fantastic garden & great views

Pros: Beautiful house, beautiful room furnished so tastefully. Garden was magnificent. We ate dinner from the market in the courtyard one night. Even had its own miradouro. Escalators from the river make access easy.

Cons: It was a little but out of the centre, which can be a positive or a negative. No restaurants 2 mins away but great bat & restaurant in the Parque das Virtudes, 10’ walk.

Dreamy stay!!!

Pros: We were so happy with this pick! Has the feeling of staying in a private manor house. Location is perfect—central enough without the hustle of central and gorgeous views! Parking was even convenient if reserve in advance. Room was so spacious and comfortable and clean. Staff went above and beyond to make everything smooth and comfortable for us.

Cons: Nothing! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Gorgeous property in a great location

Pros: An absolutely beautiful property in a great location - walkable to most of the major sights of Porto, and easy access to the bus/tram to get to the beach. We loved our room which was spacious, quiet, spotlessly clean, and comfortable, with a great mattress and nearly silent AC. The garden is a destination in itself and we felt lucky to be able to enjoy the views from the private terrace. We tried the breakfast one day and it was quite nice. Taxis can pick you up/drop you right at the front door of the property.
