Wonderful host, great place

Pros: I felt very taken care of the entire stay. The host Isabella and her staff went above and beyond. They were helpful, had tips and local information, and generally made my stay comfortable and stress free.

Pros: Isabel is a lovely hostess. Breakfasts are very good. Nothing is too much trouble.

A relaxing break in a friendly Porto B and B

Pros: The B and B is very clean and well appointed. I really liked the area - close to the Casa da Música metro - as it was away from the busy and somewhat overwhelming touristy centre of Porto and it was very much a place where people live. Transport is really easy and cheap by public transport to all area of the city. I would recommend Boémia cafe, a 5 minute walk away, for excellent coffee and croissants for an afternoon snack. An excellent and easy trip from Domus Duorum was by direct metro to the coastal town of Matosinhos, just north of Porto. This is a wonderful place for a swim in the Atlantic, walk along the seafront (5km to Foz and then catch the historic tram to the city centre) and to eat the freshest fish. Isabel and Sandra are kind and friendly hosts who were always keen to help out. The breakfast was plentiful and they catered for dietary requirements.

Cons: I had the room on the top floor and it was quite humid so towels didn’t dry well but I suspect that the whole of Porto is quite humid!

Excellent in every way!!

Pros: What truly makes this place is owner Isabel! You couldn’t wish to meet a more welcoming person, and she is assisted by Sandra, who is so keen to please you! The property is meticulously clean and has lovely, quirky touches. You feel at home as soon as you arrive. The breakfast… well… this is just superb!!! Excellent preparation and presentation, using good quality local produce. Exceptional choice of breakfast items… all so very tasty. Can’t wait to return!

Pros: Great location near my conference, lovely breakfasts and very friendly staff. Nothing too much trouble.

Cons: The street was occasionally noisy, but not so much as to disturb me.

Pros: Our stay at Domus Duorum was absolutely wonderful! Isabel was truly exceptional - her warmth, communication, and care made the entire experience far beyond what you’d expect. The room was spotless and the bed comfortable. Breakfast was delicious, with every detail thoughtfully prepared. If we could, we’d give a rating higher than 10! We honestly felt like we were staying with a beloved family member, like visiting our aunt in Porto. Thank you.

Pros: Isabel was so friendly and helpful along with the other staff.

Pros: Isabel is a very warm host which make you feel welcomed. Clear instruction given for easy check in. Though not in centre of attraction, metro station is just within 10mins walking distance, and easy to get Bolt as well. Room was very cozy, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was lovely and catered to your preferred timing

Pros: Isabell will make your staying unforgettable.The apartment is comfortable and clean but what will make your staying unique is the hospitality of the hostess.We really enjoy taking breakfast in the back yard.The area around is safe ,not very near to town center but you easily go there using the metro or even better using Bolt or Uber which is very cheap in Portugal ( 5-6euros most of the times).Free parking around is easily found.

Cons: Be considered that the rooms upstairs are mandan rooms,so you might don't like them if you are tall. We didn't although have any problem and we enjoy the privacy.
