Little oasis

Pros: Our stay at Casa Kala was wonderful. We liked the house, beautiful restored, all the little details.... Very comfortable rooms,very good breakfast, good location, quiet and safe Frank and Ruth made us feel very welcome We definitely will stay at Casa Kala when we return to Porto

The best stay in Porto

Pros: Wow, what a great place! Lovely staff that couldn’t do enough to make our stay a good one. The place is really clean and smells like a spa. The rooms have high impressive ceilings and we had a balcony overlooking the gardens. The shower was really good and the breakfast was very impressive! Highly recommend!

Cons: I bit of a walk from the river front but only cost 8 euros in a taxi if you’re tired after a long day. Quieter then staying on the front though so pros and cons.

Hidden gem in Porto

Pros: The hotel was beautiful (even in the rain!), we stayed in the top floor suite which was huge. Staff were all so lovely and friendly and the hotel is in a great location. We would definitely stay again.

Delightful sejour

Pros: From the moment we arrived, the staff truly went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. They took the time to explain the city in detail, offering helpful tips and recommendations that made exploring so much easier. I was especially impressed by how accommodating they were with my vegan diet. The staff were knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely happy to help, which made a big difference during my stay. Throughout our visit, everyone was consistently pleasant, friendly, and eager to assist with anything we needed. This level of care and hospitality really stood out and made the experience memorable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Portugal.

A beautiful oasis of calm - Highly Recommended

Pros: Casa Kala was perfect - such an oasis of calm after walking round the busy city The building has been lovingly and tastefully restored to create an amazing hotel The staff were so friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble We particularly enjoyed the couples Duo Harmony massage that we had on our last day The airport transfer was also great - removing any stress in getting to the airport at the end of the holiday

Wonderful place in Porto

Pros: Casa Kala is a wonderful place to stay! I think that our visit in Porto wouldn't be so good without staying in Casa Kala. The building itself is beautiful: exterior as well as interior. Pros: Everything was perfect for my fiancés special Birthday celebrations x the little added extra made it even more special x The location was great easy to get around. The staff ALL are just so kind and friendly nothing is too much trouble.
