Stylish room in the city center

Pros: The location is really great. We did not notice any noise from the street. There is traffic on the street, but that’s bearable and with closed windows, you can’t hear anything. The interior is nice.

Cons: The faucet in the bathroom was a bit loose but was still usable.

Loved the location and style of the room, would recommend as an excellent spot to stay to explore.

Pros: The location was amazing, very close to the river, shops, restaurants and sights. Very easy to get about. The room was clean, modern and spacious. It had a large seating area separate to the bed and the bathroom was spacious and modern.

Cons: The only fault was that the downstairs area closes at 3 so if you are checking in after 3 then you will need to find the key and check in yourself. Also if you are leaving luggage before or after check in then it would be unattended. It did feel fairly safe though, you were reliant on everyone closing the door properly.

A delightful stay in Porto

Pros: A small boutique hotel/guesthouse in the main tourist centre of Porto. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. They communicated very effectively via What's App prior to our arrival to ensure we were aware of the check in procedure if you arrived after 3pm. Close to great restaurants and cafes.

Cons: The bedroom on the mezzanine floor was a very quirky design but it wouldn't suit anyone with mobility issues. Whilst it wasn't a problem for me, navigating the internal stairs in the middle of the night to use the bathroom downstairs, could be little hazardous. It is a nicely renovated older building but more thought about the lighting design could have accommodated a night light/sensor light for the stairs to improve safety.

Great guesthouse in a great city.

Pros: Central location, friendly and helpful staff, clean facilities.

Cons: Towels upstairs on bed - bathroom was downstairs. Towels would have been handier in bathroom. Balcony wasn't one to sit out on.
