Pros: From access, to parking, to reception, to rooms, to breakfast, to flexibility - everything exceeded expectations. Very important, the building HAS radiators, which is rare in Portugal and was the best surprise for a winter weekend.

Great place for a romantic stay

Pros: It was a different experience in a historic house, it was like stepping into the past. The rooms were comfortable and decent size, staff was nice and the area was quiet! Good breakfast.

Cons: The rooms were a bit too warm and the hot water was lukewarm, not very nice to shower on a cold day.

Ideal spot for visiting Porto.

Pros: Good breakfast. Better cerals, eg muesli, would be nice. No a la carte options, but eggs could be requested. location near subway(400 metres)).Lift to rooms. Secure parking at a cost.Spacious rooms. Good linen. Lovely buildings.

Cons: Limited menu in on site restaurant. Good service there, though.

Wonderful stay in one of a kind castle

Pros: Beautiful ,unique building short walk from city. Lovely staff who were kind and helpful. Emaculate clean room.

Cons: Possibly some more leisure activities available at hotel although seems renovation in progress.

Unfortunately we had crap weather, but we saw the whole city on foot and it was incredible!

Pros: Breakfast was just OK. Our room was really great. Staff were so helpful and kind.

Cons: Breakfast could've been better. Too many pastries and not enough local foods like seafood, good cheese, sausage. Some of it looked like school lunch, but the coffee was excellent.

Pros: Very friendly helpful staff Clean spacious room. Excellent shower. Beautiful gardens & public rooms. Any excellent hotel, would highly recommend.

Cons: The bright lights outside our room were left on all night, as the curtains didn't quite reach the wall it allowed the light to shine into the room. Other than that we were very happy with our room.

We stayed in a castle ….was so cool!

Pros: Breakfast was lovely, eggs were hot, toaster worked and a large variety of local pastries. Overall was very good! And the sheets were high quality, very comfortable bedding. We all slept very well!

Cons: The only thing we didn’t like was lugging our luggage up 5 flights of stairs
