The Editory House Ribeira Porto Hotel

Pros: Amazing place in heart of Porto. Complimentary pastel de nata and a glass of port was a great touch. Staff was friendly and the hotel was amazing.

Amazing stay!

Pros: It was one of the best hotels I stayed in. It’s a great value for money, perfectly located and the staff was amazing. They made the stay really special. All th small details in a room - very thought through (for example bottle opener). And also I’m a very sensitive sleeper and it was the first hotel where I did not need to use ear plugs. Special thanks to Rui - he explained me a lot about the city and gave me recommendations where to start and where to go. He was also always there for further questions. Thank you for your professionalism and kindness! Best Daria

Great hotel located in the heart of Ribeira, Porto.

Pros: Great location just one street up from the river. Staff were friendly and the hotel was very clean. The room was quiet and had everything we needed.

Fab location

Pros: Fantastic location near the river easy to navigate around the city from this base, the hotel smells nice. The staff are welcoming and the hotel is a nice place to relax with relaxing music. Nice toiletries in the room along with a decent kettle was fab and a well cleaned room.The buffet breakfast is served well with a good range of food in a nice hygienic area. Mostly everything was fantastic.

Cons: The only negatives I can give this place are some small details that I believe are fixable, in my room where I think paintwork had been touched up the painting had been done a little scruffy with paint going onto areas where it shouldn't, masking tape is a must, also the toilet seat was a little bit loose and the seal around the cubicles for the shower and toilet is past it's best moments, these elements have not impacted my stay though, I visited in February so am very happy with what I paid for my stay however if I visited in high season where the price point is much greater I would be disappointed with these little details, to some these would not be an issue but in this hotel there are so many lovely little details I love, the staff the cleanliness, design and feel of this place, get rid of the negative details Editory I will be back to check! Why did I not complain at the hotel? Because it caused no issue for my stay. Would I stay here again? Absolutely I would but it would be only to a certain price point I'm afraid.

A comfortable and well-located stay in a beautifully restored building.

Pros: The location is excellent, right in the heart of Ribeira, within walking distance of the main attractions, restaurants and the riverfront. The building itself is beautifully blending historic charm with a modern, tasteful design. The room was comfortable, with good quality bedding. We also appreciated the friendly and professional attitude of the staff, who were consistently helpful and welcoming throughout our stay.

Cons: The breakfast was rather limited in variety.

Pros: Everything was perfect . Very helpful staff and just the perfect location.

Fantastic accommodation to explore Porto

Pros: Minutes from the river front the Editory hotel in Ribeira is well located to explore the beautiful.citu of Porto. A short walk will get you to most things you want to.cover in Porto. The lift although tiny was of great help and the front staff took time to help us navigate to most of the places. The rooms were nice, beds comfortable and toilets decent.

Pros: Friendly staff, clean rooms, good breakfast and the location was excellent, only 1 block from the river. I would highly recommend this hotel.
