Value for money hotel in Boavista area

Pros: Helpful staff and rooms were as advertised. Breakfast had the basics - eggs, bacon and pastries, all done well. Boavista area, where this hotel is located, is one of the stops in the Red Bus Hop On Hop Off route. This was convenient as our family bought the 48 hours pass for the bus and used it as transport into the city centre and back to the hotel for 2 days.

Cons: We were originally given the room directly above the lounge/breakfast area which was noisy and did not have a coffee machine. However we were a different room when we requested. So overall was a pleasant experience.

A really nice place to stay.

Pros: The welcome at reception, the standard and cleanliness of the room, the fact that it abutted the food court of the Mall and the very reasonable prices in the bar. The theme of the hotel was also very nice.

Cons: Only two things. The tap in the shower had pulled away from the wall. The stairs up to reception for an old boy with luggage are hard work. There is no indication easily visible of a way to the lift.

Visit to Porto

Pros: Nice design hotel, in a convenient position, 10 minutes walking from a metro station. Attached (and with internal connection) to Mercado Bom Sucesso, which is a very good food court. Private parking available at reasonable price.

Cons: Room view on the food court (internal of Mercado Bom Sucesso). Bathroom sink uncomfortable, great design however absolutely useless.

Comfortable value in excellent location

Pros: Very comfortable room in minimalist style. I personally prefer a door to the bathroom, but it worked well enough. Very stylish public spaces. Excellent location in what was probably a 1970s market building. Innovative design. Good breakfast but busy. Restaurant pleasant but quiet

A wonderful surprise in Porto

Pros: The hotel's atmosphere is amazing! An excellent place to enjoy the Bonsucesso Market and Casa da Musica. I strongly recommend!

Pros: The staff was exceptionally helpful and gracious with everything!

Cons: The glass door to the bathroom - i would appreciate more privacy. I appreciate much the effort in bringing kosher meals on Saturday - but you should know that the kosher food was really lousy! Less than the food you get on a plane, and certainly doesn't justify its high price. I highly recommend you find another arrangement for kosher food because we were very happy with all the arrangements for Shabbat at your place, but the food was a disaster.

Great breakfast and lovely staff. Highly recommend musica Hotel.

Pros: The staff were amazing and find our luggage when we had to go away for a few days… They also gave Portuguese tarts on arrival which was lovely. Hotel attached to a food eatery which was great.

Cons: If you wanted to be in old town, it is a bit of a walk
