Best hotel to stay in Porto if you want great views and accessing both sides of the river.

Pros: Location was perfect for being able to easily visit both sides of the river. The hotel lobby was approx 20 feet from the start of the Ponte Leon I bridge - top level. Hotel also has another entrance that opens also very close to the lower level of the bridge. Both levels of the bridge are walkable. All staff was very personable and easily helped us with directions. Was also able to book a taxi to the airport via the front desk. Wine bar was overlooking the river - so the views were fantastic. The views were fantastic from our room - we could see the entire waterfront. We were very close to the waterfront restaurants, and the meeting points for multiple excursions. Would highly recommend this hotel ! In the middle photo below - the whitish coloured building on the right - is the hotel lobby !!!

Pros: Location is amazing with fantastic views of the city and easy access to both sides of the river. Staff are both friendly and professional. Imaculately clean in all areas. Breakfast is the best Ive ever seen with an exceptional buffet offer and a la carte items.

Cons: There is nothing not to like.

Worth every penny

Pros: Amazing location near the port houses. Fantastic view of the bridge and the river. Breakfast was delicious great selection. Pay the extra for a river view. Parking also onsite and secure.

Outstanding location with incredible views

Pros: Outstanding location with incredible views. Rooms were spacious and very well equipped. Great choice at breakfast, and the bar on the 11th floor was fantastic for pre and post dinner drinks. Highly recommend 👌

Cons: Only tiny issue was that the hot choice at breakfast was cold (scrambled eggs, beans and hash browns). However the choice of fruit, bread and pastries more than compensated

Always brilliant

Pros: The room was comfortable, clean and had a nice view over the bridge. Not raving but nothing wrong with it either. Then you add the views from the bar and restaurant, good food and great location and there’s your 10.

Cons: The garage is always tricky to get in and out with a midsized car. Imagine with a sedan, SUV…
