Amazing views of the Duoro River in a lovely apartment, with a great location

Pros: It's a perfect location to base yourself in. Even if you're not spending much time in the Ribeira area, it's so central and walkable to any area of Porto or Vila Nova de Gaia. Sitting on the comfy chair at the window, watching the boats drift by on the Duoro River, while cable cars float up and down above the backdrop of Gaia, with the iconic signs of Ports illuminated, is one of the highlights of the trip, and the main reason we booked this place for a second time. The apartment is clean, spacious, comfortable and relaxing. All the amenities you need, with a stellar view and great location.

Lovely position on the Rivers edge

Pros: Great position on the River, Lovely views of the River day and night. Spacious

Cons: No kettle to boil water- resorted to a saucepan to have a cup of tea. Safe did not work as no batteries.

Great place for 5 day stay in Porto

Pros: Amazing views of the passing boats and the port wineries opposite. The apartment was on the 1st floor up 14 winding lit stairs, off a cobbled alleyway leading to the riverfront , lined with cafes. Inside the apartment with 20 m span, the kitchen is very well stocked- never worked out how the hob works. Microwave essential. Bathroom great.. Shutters kept out the cool morning air. Comfortable lounge. Large tv.

Cons: Lift not working. Slippy rugs - we rolled them up while there. Doors locks needing memory of the 2 entry codes.

Pros: Great location at the edge of the Ribeira district. The living room was spacious and had three windows directly overlooking the Douro river. Long term parking was available just a few metres away.

Cons: Nothing in particular. The only minor issue was that, although there was a Nespresso coffee machine, there were only four pods, surely not adequate for two persons for three nights. We bought our own.

Perfect stay at Porto Premium Rverview 1

Pros: We thouroughly enjoyed our 5 night stay in Porto. Communication with the apartment before and during our stay was excellent. We had a slight problem with the door access but this was sorted out very quickly by a what's app phonecall. The apartment itself is lovely. It is very well appointed and very clean. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and more. The lounge is the crowning glory. The view over the Douro is magnificent and always changing. We opted to have breakfast in the apartment to simply enjoy the view. The bed was very comfortable and any noise from the streets did not cause us any problems. The location was absolutely perfect. We will certainly return when we next visit Porto.

Pros: Excellent location. We felt like minor noblemen. Very close to public transport, restaurants and historical sites. Spectacular view.

Ideal location for exploring Porto

Pros: The location is perfect. Right on the river with amazing views. All the restaurants and sights of the old town (Ribeira) are on your doorstep. Take an hour-long river cruise from the Cais de Estiva 5 minutes away or walk over the iconic Ponte Luis I bridge for port tastings at one of the port wine lodges on the opposite bank. If you want to experience fado music while in Porto try the superb Casa Da Guitarra: 15 minutes' walk away, near the cathedral. The flat itself has everything you need for a short stay in Portugal - comfortable bed, nicely refurbished bathroom, attractively decorated rooms, fan in the bedroom for warm nights. There's a restaurant directly underneath the living room but it doesn't stay open very late, and the bedroom is at the back of the building where there's little noise.

Cons: It was ideal for us.

Lovely stay in a lovely apartment

Pros: Great location on river bank with great views. Well finished and had everything that was needed In the centre of Porto and plenty of good restaurants

Cons: Due to the fact that I like to leave windows open at night there was some noise at night…but expected due to location

Pros: Absolutely stunning apartment right on the water in Porto. Nicely furnished and decorated with stunning water views. Well equipped kitchen with everything you need for a longer stay. Great value for the area. Staff were communicative and very helpful. 10/10

Memorable stay

Pros: The apartment was in a beautiful location. It was very comfortable and spacious. We loved our stay, it was relaxing. Will totally recommend it for other travellers. Thank you
