Authentic Porto Suites

Great stay, lovely room, would stay again, just be aware that it's noisy!

Pros: Lovely room with nice decor, comfy bed, very clean, good to have kettle, coffe machine and fridge, powerful shower which was great! Location is brilliant, very central to old town Porto, a few minutes walk to many main attractions. Check-in was quick and easy using codes provided.

Cons: Apartment was noisy - could hear everything in the streets including drilling from construction directly outside at 7am on Saturday morning and conversations in the staircase. Staircase up to apartment was narrow.

Great location for a lovely room with kitchen!

Pros: Great location, clean and comfortable bed. The kitchen was well stocked and the welcome wine was a lovely touch. Easy to check in and get into the building.

Cons: As mentioned in the information, there are 4 flights of narrow stairs which was a bit difficult with a heavy case. I did manage but something to bear in mind.

Pros: The location is perfect, close to a train,metro station, and so many great restaurants. The room was clean (even towels were pretty puffy :))

Cons: The only con is that the stairs of the building are very narrow. If you have a large luggage, it is hard to carry

Great short visit to Porto

Pros: Great location- close walking distance to heart of historical area. Room was well appointed- everything you need for a short stay. Communication was excellent , and provided good information on things to do and see.

Cons: My room was on third floor, no lift and steep stairs- was noted in description of property- but bear in mind that a heavy suitcase will be a problem. Also central location did mean a bit of noise late at night- to be expected , but should be considered.

Stunning studio in a brilliant location.

Pros: I loved everything about this cozy studio, George Clarke should feature it on his series Amazing Spaces! It is so well designed, they have thought of everything. It is stylish, and really comfy. It is renovated to a high standard, and right in the middle of town without being too noisy. Yes you can hear some music, but you are up four stories, and I only noticed it on the Saturday night and it stopped by midnight. I would much rather be in a bustling location like this and bring earplugs, even though I didn’t need them. It’s great being able to get in using a door code, as it means arrival is very flexible after check in time.

Cons: It is up four narrow flights of stairs, so be prepared to lug your bags up there, but it was a small price to pay for such a fabulous and well located apartment.

Comfortable and convenient, but noisy at night

Pros: The room itself was great. Perfect for a solo traveller but would also be comfortable for a couple. The bed was comfortable, the shower was good, and there was a mini fridge and complementary bottle of wine. Access was very convenient with the provided codes to enter. Right near all interesting points of interest in the heart of the city. Good value for money.

Cons: It is noisy at night. Yes you should know this because you're booking something so central in the city, but it was still unexpectedly disruptive to sleep: parties and shouting on the streets continued until 4-5am, then construction work began at 6am. Keep in mind if you're a light sleeper.

Great accommodation and location

Pros: Really nice and beautiful accommodation, clean, and the location is great. Strongly recommend.

Cons: The only thing is that it might be noisy outside. But it was not a real problem.

Excellent flat in perfect location in Porto

Pros: Excellent location, comfortable with all amenities you need. No complaints. It’s a flat on first floor in the middle of the city so yes, you can hear the city outside but it isn’t too bad and it didn’t bother me.

Pros: Everything, best position and spot to stay in Porto

Nice for a short stay

Pros: Very good communication with the host. Welcome drink - wine. Easy check in. Location was very central. Modern bathroom and the whole place was very clean.

Cons: The room was a bit smaller than expected. Currently, they are building a new metro line in Porto, so there are many many construction sites and one in in fron of the aparment. If you are a light sleeper, you will definitely need earplugs.
