RIBEIRA OPORTO APARTMENT (NEW)

We would recommend this place and would happily stay here again.

Pros: We stayed in this apartment for five nights and had a great experience overall. The location is excellent just a few steps from Ribeira and very close to the city center, with plenty of services nearby such as wine shops, mini-markets, and cafés. The apartment was very clean and well maintained, and it had everything we needed to cook our own meals. The bed was absolutely amazing — extremely comfortable and perfect for a good night’s sleep after long days of exploring Porto.

Cons: The only small downside is that the price was a bit high, but considering the location, comfort, and quality of the apartment, it was definitely worth it.

Lovely quite apartment, well located, and very responsive host - all in all a great stay!

Pros: The location of this apartment was excellent - within walking distance of the main central area and the river. The facilities were very good. The bed was extra comfy. And the apartment was very quiet for sleeping purposes. The stairwell was very clean. In addition, the host was very responsive when we had questions about how to use the hob and the TV - answers came back immediately.

Cons: Similar to other apartment rentals there is nowhere to leave your luggage if your transport/travel is much later in the day. That's fine but it would be great if there was some way of providing this. The host suggested left luggage at San Bento. But we actually found a store just 2 minutes from the apartment through the App - Bounce. Would highly recommend this as an option.

Comfy!

Pros: Really clean and spacious apartment in a great location between the historic centre and the river.

Cons: We hadn't realised there was a flight of stairs to reach the lift, plus the apartment was at the back with little or no view. Although this did mean it was nice and quiet.

Pros: apartment was in a good location, well presented and maintained, clean, very comfortable bed. Our room was very quiet, apartment 3. Communication from host was very good and timely. Joao even came round to help us when we couldn't figure out how to work the cooker.

Pros: Everything. Location, facilities, comfort and, particularly, prompt communication with owner. Apartment is close to river - and to lots of excellent eateries.

Cons: There is a fairly steep, but small, flight of stairs to get to the lift. Also, the lift broke down twice which meant a lot of stairs to climb for our 4th floor apartment. Having said that the owner responded immediately and the lift was repaired by the morning. Also, the apartment is on a steep hill but that applies to most of Porto!! Anyone with mobility issues should beware!

Pros: The location of the apartment is very central. The host was very kind, recommending restaurants and other activities. The apartment was spacious and clean.

Cons: A coffee machine would be nice.

Pros: Great location and had everything we needed. Communication was fantastic. Very comfortable bed. Plenty of space. Easy access and great ice cream shop across the road.

Cons: Could only run 2 appliances at a time, a little frustrating but definitely manageable. Apartment only had window to inside building no street view.

Porto is a beautiful city. The food scene is extraordinary.

Pros: Perfect location downtown Porto near all the highlights.. The apartment is spacious with all accomodies you need. Very comfy bed. Clean and spacious bathroom. Access to the 5th floor is with an elevator. Day before checkout the elevator did not work but I was informed by the host immediately. He asked if I would need any help with bringing my suitcase down on day of checkout. That's service.

Pros: Great location. Easy to get to all the sights. Communication good from Joao, tips excellent. Apartment comfy, microwave handy. Bakery at top of the street fab.

Cons: Lift was not working: we were glad we weren't on the top floor!
