Formosa Apartments

Pros: Perfect location! The apartment was amazingly designed and comfortable. 1 minute walk from caffes, metro and the market The host was easy to communicate

Cons: The door lock didn't work properly and it was hard using it (but it was inside the private hall so it was very safe area), the flat is as high as second floor

A fantastic stay in gorgeous location

Pros: Location is great - just next to the Bolhao market. Despite that, room was reasonably quiet. You couldn't ask for a better place both for shopping, going out and transport. A/C worked great (once figured out how to control it), the rooms were good size (with a very high ceiling) and the balcony was a bonus too. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. All the basic kitchen appliances and utilities were also in very good shape and enough to cook some simple food. And if you don't like to cook yourself, you're surrounded by restaurants and cafes serving outstanding food!

Cons: WiFi was a bit flaky (although mostly worked). Shower could be improved and the towels - while clean - probably need replacing.

Comfort and central location at Formosa Apartments

Pros: The apartment is incredibly charming and has all the amenities needed for an amazing stay in Porto. One of its biggest highlights is the location – right in front of Mercado do Bolhão and within walking distance of all the main attractions in the city. Despite being so central, the apartment is surprisingly quiet, allowing for a great night's sleep. Everything was perfect, and we would definitely recommend this place!

Pros: Great location to explore the city. Very clean with easy access and communication with the host.

Lovely and clean

Pros: They stored our bags till it was time for check in. The guy we spoke to at check in was very helpful and kind Very clean and spacious 1 bed apartment has a Comfy bed All you need in the appartment. Has well as a toaster and kettle. Supermarket at the end of the street was very convenient (come out of appointment turn left go towards the traffic lights and it's just over the road on the corner. ) Convenient location for getting around Porto

Very cozy and pleasant

Pros: Very clean, cozy and lovely light coming in the apartment. Very nice hosts.

Pros: location. It is just located in the city center. Just across the famous Nata place. Spacious, quiet, and cozy. Edward was dedicated and had a good manners.

Cons: It is hard to find the apartments. It doesn't have an address number. Finally I found out it with somebody's help.

Really nice but noisy

Pros: The studio apartment was very spacious and light due to the very high ceilings and big doors. The communication with the staff was excellent, good English and they checked on us during our stay to see if we needed anything which was a nice touch.

Cons: A distraction to our stay was the noise from the street which is directly below. Even with double glazing we needed ear plugs to go to sleep. Cobble stone streets and crowds create a lot of noise. Also the balcony is very narrow, only useful to stand on to view the street but nothing more..

Overall, a great apartment, in a perfect location.

Pros: Great apartment, in a excellent location. Loved the bed, the double doors, out to the balcony, the giant mirror, the High ceilings... I will definitely be back soon.

Fantastic location, a lovely apartment with friendly helpful hosts.

Pros: Great location, seamless arrival and departure. Hosts always available if needed.

Cons: The only downside was the bed..it was so uncomfortable. Everything else was perfect..and if they changed the mattress we would definitely return.. I would still recommend it though as this is easily rectified..
