Pros: Very helpful and professional staff and everything excellent

Great place

Pros: Great little room, definitely good value for money. The rooms are very small but comfortable. Kitchen and communal areas were clean and well equipped. Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can leave your bags after check out, which is a huge help!

Cons: The shower room on our level had no shower head, but the ones downstairs did, so not much of an issue. A coffee perculator or cafetiere in the kitchen would be great! There is a pod coffee machine, but all we had was ground coffee.

Pros: Great location, very central and has everything you would need! Place is lovely and beautiful and Arthur is very friendly!

Pros: Friendly staff, clean. Great kitchen and facilities. Excellent location. Would stay here again.

Cons: Bathroom, shower on different levels to dorm rooms. Toilet on same level - good

Pros: Central location right by Sao Bento station, staff were welcoming and accommodating, lovely rooftop patio and there are common areas on each floor if you don't want to disturb your dorm mates. Kitchen and washrooms were clean though not spotless, which is typical of shared accommodations with lots of people coming and going. In general, I found all the guests considerate and actively cleaning up after themselves, and staff took care of the rest.

Excellent value for money.

Pros: Greeted at the door by Caio, a lovely man, very warm and welcoming. Premises were spotless and had a lovely homely feel. Lots of airy space not at all claustrophobic. My roommates (Possibly A German couple) were also incredibly considerate when they arrived and I was already in bed asleep.

Cons: Entrance was difficult to find. Maybe a bigger sign at the front.

Awesome location, awesome hostel!

Pros: Everything was great! Good privacy with the curtains, can leave your bags for the day for free.

Cons: Maybe more toilets... but not a big issue!

Pros: Very comfortable, social and had great kitchen and living areas.

Cons: No Aircon or fans and lots of stairs to get to accommodation.

Great location

Pros: Had a shared balcony (however you can’t smoke on this). Bed was comfortable. Great location, close to public transport systems/restaurants/sites.

Cons: Stairs/no aircon (typical for Europe though), bathrooms were clean but very small and not many for each floor of guests to share.

Pros: The staff was very welcoming, their is a very nice living room and a terrace! Very comfortable beds!

Cons: In the rooms you don’t have so much space.
