Pros: I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Porto Rico (Paulista) Hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Every member of the personnel was incredibly kind, friendly, and attentive — they truly made my stay special. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with all the amenities I could need. The atmosphere of the hotel is warm and inviting, making it easy to relax and feel at home. The location is absolutely brilliant — right in the heart of Porto, with easy access to everything you could want. You couldn’t ask for a better spot to explore the city, enjoy local restaurants, or experience Porto’s vibrant culture. What stood out the most was the team — always smiling, ready to help, and genuinely caring about guests’ experiences. I can’t recommend Porto Rico Hotel enough! I will definitely return on my next trip to Porto. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

Good value for money in a great location to get around the city

Pros: Excellent location, and it was a bonus to get tea/coffee making facilities in the room. The hotel also arranged for a shuttle to take me to the airport

Handy Porto hotel

Pros: The room was a decent size and the hotel was in a good location. It was clean and they served a good breakfast. There was also a kettle and fridge in the room.

Cons: The bathroom was a bit cramped, although it was ok for a couple of nights.

Good value

Pros: Great value cozy hotel. I liked the view from my balcony.

Cons: Some dark curtains to block out light would be nice if you want to sleep when it is bright outside, also when it is dark people can see you through the curtains so you can't undress. Also an extra table to put things on would be nice.

Fantastic 2* Location Value Parking Staff.

Pros: Best Value city break two star hotel I have stayed in. Huge bonus having parking on site for our VW California. We had a top floor room with balcony and a lift . The street view was a bonus as was the quiet night thanks to the glazing and shutter system.

Cons: A little difficult to communicate before arrival. But we were a last minute booking and need not have worried as everything was in place for our arrival.

Pros: Great location, easy to walk to the river and all main sights. Tuktuk tour start really close, Parking is euro 25 per day, comparable to parking buildings. Lovely staff, easy to find.
