Great location, bit noisy...

Pros: Location was great. Bed was comfortable and room was of a good size.

Cons: Thin walls, could hear people coming back at 2am, talking, laughing and watching TV like you were on the same room!

Clean and excellent location

Pros: Excellent location, close to center and close to main metro station Trindade (5 minutes walk) from which direct metro to airport. Trindade has 3 vending machines for single tickets paid by catd or cash. No noise from building works that are goin on for 3 years now for new metro line. Bus stops in front of hotel. Hotel is old fashioned, ‘80 ‘90 designs with good old key instead of 💳 cards. I had room 305. On the side of the hotel, no traffic noise, only some far away airco sounds. Although no luxery, inhad airco and tv with 30 channels, even my homeland Dutch channel. All was clean and that Is a basic demand. Could have window opened at night because of outside screens, so no flies or mosquitoes in the room. Breakfast basic but good. Coffee, tea, juice, ham, cheese, yogurt and serials. And of course sweets like pastel de nata. Excellent hotel for this price. They sell cooled water and other drinks from refrigerator in the reception area.

Cons: Everything was good.

Pros: Great value for money hotel in an excellent location within easy walking distance to most attractions and metro with airport connection. Very pleasant and helpful staff.

Good value comfortable stay in an excellent position.

Pros: My single room was clean and comfortable and had everything I needed. Great view onto the main square. The double glazed window kept out all external noise at night. There was little or no internal noise at night, the room door sealed very well. Good selection for buffet breakfast, the food and drinks you would expect in a Portuguese 2 star hotel. Excellent value for money.

Convenient Location : Would Stay Again

Pros: Room was quiet, clean & had working air conditioning. Breakfast is adequate if looking for something quick & simple. Hotel is conveniently located for the city centre with great transport connections. 24 hour reception so no problem with my late flight arrival time.

Cons: Slightly larger duvet perhaps, but no significant complaints from myself.

Great place to stay

Pros: Third time booking Hotel Paulista . Location is great it is by Aliados metro station , walking distance to all tourist land marks , the view from room is great , you can see all the square and people passing by having fun . Staff are nice and helpful . I joke with friends , that Hotel Paulista is my home when in Portugal 🇵🇹
