Pros: The host Nuno is fantastic, as is all the staff. The location is unbeatable!

Cons: The bathroom lacked any ventilation, and after each shower it was completely humid - even the toilet paper roll was soaking wet…

Pros: It's a tiny hotel but cozy. Room is spacious and newly decorated which looks exactly the same as photos. Convenient location with 5 minutes walk to metro station and walking distance to major tourist attractions. Staff are nice and helpful. There's no elevator and Jose was so kind to help carry my luggage to room.

Pros: 10/10 in terms of location. It is near Rua de Santa Catarina, which is a busy but walkable shopping street, it’s near the metro station (3 mins by foot) but somehow it’s on the bend around the block where it gets peaceful and quiet at night. It is also on the same street as several local restaurants where they serve excellent meals for very affordable prices. I personally recommend Murça No Porto, just down the street.

Cons: Facilities could be a bit better, especially the ventilation and a degree of soundproofing. It only took one indoor smoker and a few rowdy guests for the entire hotel to smell and hear it. But honestly, that’s just down to luck.

Good value for money.

Pros: The room is s super clean and comfortable. The location is great, close to restaurants. There is always staff at the front desk and they're really nice.

Cons: It is a 2-star hotel, so that is something to keep in mind. There is hardly any sound-proofing between the walls. The room is small, it's ok for 1-2 days if your time will be spent outside exploring the city.

Strong 8/10, I Would Come Back

Pros: The staff was amazing, very nice and attentive to details, always ready to help. They helped us with our suitcases to our room. We were also able to use the iron, and they gave us a city map with lots of information about what to see. They even offered us a Porto wine tasting, but we didn't try it. The location is great, close to both the metro station and the city center. There's an option to have a classic continental breakfast, which is great if you don't have time to go out or you're tired. The room was comfortable and cleaned every day.

Cons: There were a few downsides.There were no vegetables for breakfast, and the place was quite noisy, as you could easily hear the neighbors. The bathroom also seemed outdated and in need of renovation, especially the shower.
