Portugal 🇵🇹

Lovely, well maintained hotel with lots of character

Pros: Very nice 3 star hotel. Everything worked, and the newer rooms and most of the common areas have been nicely renovated. The buffet breakfast was also really great.

Cons: There are very limited public transport options nearby, and the hotel is up a super steep hill. However, as the location is pretty central, this is easy to solve by taking a short walk or using uber.

Very nice and big hotel

Pros: First of all the receptionist young man and the lady were extremely understanding and helpful to solve for a problem that caused by BOOKING.COM!!! They honestly understood the issue and spent max.effort to solve it and they did. It is a very big hotel and well organized and controlled. We extended our stay from one night to two nights because we enjoyed staying there and liked Porto very much.

Cons: Actually the parking availability is limited. You may have problem to find a parking spot. That was a problem but I guess that might be normal for a big hotel in the middle of the city. Other thing is breakfast room was big and clean but the room was cold!! It might be ok even good for summer time but certainly not an enjoyable breakfast moments during autumn and winter. We were there at Nov. and it was cold enough!! That is the only thing. Also, it would have been nice to have a pair sleepers in the room for a big and nice hotel like this.

the hotel is only a short walk to the centre and it has plenty of parking spaces.

Pros: Very good breakfast, plenty of choice and good coffee. Fresh fruit, cereal, fruit juice, cooked breakfast, cold meats and cheese, different breads, cakes and croissants

Unexpectedly delightful

Pros: Think the location was excellent, just far enough away from the centre but close enough and bus links were excellent. The Music venue parkland was lovely Very spacious and nice breakfast. Nice terrace

Cons: Place is a conference centre which did make it a bit soulless but perhaps the spacious facilities gave that impression

Pros: It has a beautiful view from the back of the hotel and that was about it. The reception staff was really lovely though.

Cons: It needs a lot of updating. My bathroom stunk really badly one morning of drains.
