Exe Essenzia Porto

Pros: The bed was very comfortable, the heating worked perfectly, the interior design was cosy, the staff was really nice, easy and helpful, and the room was pristine clean.

Cons: The toilet door in the room was a bit faulty, didn't open properly once closed. It was a bit hard to open. The button to flush the toilet with less water was broken. Though, none of these were a big problem.

Lovely stay

Pros: It’s absolutely brilliant quite close to city centre room was more spacious and tidy. Breakfast is lovely as well.

Pros: The hotel is great location, hotel staff very friendly & helpful. The junior suite was spacious, clean bathroom & linen. Breakfast was a good spread. Great hotel.

Cons: It would be nice to have better lighting in the bedroom especially in winter sunrise is very late & you having to prepare for earlier tours. The rest of the lighting in the bathrooms & living area is great.

Porto trip

Pros: The fact that it was close to many restaurants & cafes. Plus, the staff were really welcoming.

A lovely modern hotel near the arts district, I’d return!

Pros: Loved the location, near the arts district and not far to walk to get to coffee shops and restaurants. I loved how quiet it was too. The staff were lovely. I really enjoyed my stay.

Cons: I stayed in a junior suite and it was fine but there should be a note about how to use the aircon and if there’s a charge for the mini fridge items. The junior suite needs a deep clean in the bathroom like the walls etc.

Pros: very nice, small hotel, just a few steps away from the busy centre

Great base for a stay in Porto

Pros: Staff were very friendly and informative and took their time to provide us with information about all the attractions in Porto and how to find our way around. We found the location of the hotel was ideal for us situated in a quiet area only a short walk to a street with lots of restaurants and shops and a further 10 minutes or so down to the riverside. The room was spotlessly clean with all necessary amenities, including a fridge and safe. Bed was very comfortable. There was also a narrow balcony but unfortunately due to the rainy weather during our stay we didn't get to use it. There is a very good cafe/ bakery just across the street too..

Cons: It would have been nice to have a couple of small chairs on the balcony - having said that it was too wet to use the balcony when we stayed.

Exceptional

Pros: The property was in a fantastic location being a short walk away from the riverfront but far enough out for quiet at nighttime. The staff were incredible hospitable and friendly, offering our recommendations and good conversation. The breakfast service was excellent too. The overall design of the hotel was fantastic. The rooms were spacious and the cleaning staff were very thorough and hygienic. Overall an incredible stay and I can’t recommend this hotel enough! Thank you to all the staff that made it possible.

Cons: Location just a bit far away from riverfront, would prefer closer.

Pros: Reasonable choice of food at breakfast Staff polite and helpful.

Cons: The washbasin in bathroom didn’t hold water. Very difficult to us. Waste of water. Wasn’t enough clothes hangers.
