Very pleased with our choice.

Pros: Lots of things. The views over the river, the wide and very comfortable bed, the spacious storage, the good shower, the cleanliness, the attention to detail. Felipe was a highly responsive host who shared recommendations for restaurants and attractions. The flat is next door to a couple of cafes and within 30 metres of another one: there is a stop for the Hop On-Hop Off bus just up the road. We didn’t watch TV but there are two, so you can watch in bed if you wish.

Cons: As others have reported, the stairs are a challenge for carrying your luggage up to the flat and mean that the flat wouldn’t suit someone with mobility issues. The wardrobe doors were a little quirky. We would have appreciated a second set of bath towels. The lounge area is an unusual shape but it doesn’t present a significant problem.

Pros: Excellent location, right on the river in the heart of the Ribeira district. The city tour tram runs right past the entrance. The apartment was on the first floor. It had lovely high ceilings and was light, spacious and quiet at night. The kitchen had good basic facilities.

Lovely flat with great views

Pros: Well equipped lovely flat with excellent views and good location (if you don’t mind walking up into the town centre!)

Cons: As others have mentioned, it is up a lot of steps and there’s no lift which we didn’t mind but would be a problem for anyone with mobility issues

a fantastic short stay in a lovely apartment close to all we needed.

Pros: the apartment was lovely and very close to the river and main town, we didn't really use any of the facilities in the kitchen but they all looked fine.

Cons: it was all good.
