Perfect place to stay in Porto

Pros: Location is perfect. So close to everything. Extra heaters available - useful as it rained constantly one day. Felt safe and secure.

Great stay in Porto

Pros: 3 bedroom apartment on 1st floor / 1 flight of steps up. No lift. Very comfortable beds, fully air conditioned. New building and quiet. Shared washing machine in building entry. Kitchen well equipped. Great location to explore Porto - as you are down by the river it is always a downhill walk home which was appreciated. Lots of restaurants nearby. No large grocery store close by.

We had a wonderful stay for 5 nights for a trip that was mostly work related with a little personal time too.

Pros: Close to the conference centre. Good price. Great for a group of 4.

Cons: The amount of stairs to access the apartment. Also, the shower was a little dangerous due to the lack of a non-slip mat. Two of us almost fell whilst in the shower.

It was fantastic. We lived the apartment and Porto.

Pros: Close to everything. So handy to all the things we wanted to do. Great facilities. Spacious and everything we needed.

Cons: Only thing not great was the shared washing machine. Instructions were hard to understand and our washing did not spin.

Thoroughly enjoyed ourselves

Pros: Really excellent location - very easy to get around Porto from this location. The apartment was very clean, the bedrooms a good size and the beds comfortable. Air conditioning in the bedrooms was very welcome in August. Valentim is a friendly and helpful host - we followed several of his restaurant recommendations and had some lovely meals, especially the fish/seafood restaurant in Afurada.

Nice, basic appartment in the center of Porto, great area

Pros: We got into the appartment 1 hour earlier, Valentim gave us the enerting codes, a tour in the appartment and also his recommendations about where to eat and drink. The day of the electricity problem, which was stressful also because we couldn't get back into the appartment and weren't able to make contact with the hosts, Jose had been waiting for us for hours at the appartment to hand us the key.
